They can be good passers at times, but after seeing Watson nearly single handedly lose the game for us against Detroit by letting WILL BYNUM??? score layup after layup in last 3 minutes, we NEED a trade! Jazz front office, please pick up a point guard that can atleast make wide open 3’s and play ok defense. Jazz nation, who are point guards on the trade block in the nba that fit these requirements?

Earl for sure shouldnt be in the nba, but tinsley I think is a decent backup pg
I like Tinsley but Earl needs to be benched.
watson gets a lot of crap on this site, which most of the time i agree with, but not tonight. I know he gave up some layups, but he played the entire 3rd quarter and was a huge factor during that 3rd quarter run. So we can criticize him for the layups given up, but make sure to give him credit for helping us get the lead.
I agree… In every Jazz game I ask myself why he’s there and not me XD.
Tinsley is better than him and a decent BACKUP not a starter… where’s my trade??
If it will fix anything please be rude.. Tinsley min were fine but if Watson plays keep him below five min. Any other combination would be better..
Steve, Watson played well for himself in the 3rd. Just imagine how good the jazz would be if we had a decent PG right now. We wouldn’t be having close games that we should be winning. Maybe I should be upset with Corbin for subbing in Watson for burks with 3 minutes left. ThT was a dumb sub. We had a lead, we just needed to play defense at that point.
Dan i agree, completely! I’m not an idiot that thinks watson is good, but i understand what he is & what he brings, his entire career he’s been nothing but an energy guy with no offensive game besides passing and getting to the hoop, and with his age and knee, he can barely do that. I’ve been saying for a loooong time we need to upgrade the PG spot.
all i’m saying is, tonight, watson played well and gave himself a pass from criticism in my book.
Burks has such a short leash with Corbin its not even funny. Burks had one turnover towards the end of the game so Corbin subs in Watson who then picks up his dribble for no reason leading to a turnover. Last game Burks played 7 min because he missed a few shots.. Watson plays 20+ min and his offense is some of the worst in the league. And also what happened to Tinsley he didnt play in the 2nd half?
Tinsley was sick and Corbin says Burks was gassed which is why he brought Watson back in.
Burks balled out tonight, I think he would have got a lot more minutes if that starting group didn’t play as well as they did in the 3rd(held Detroit to 11 that quarter by the way). That group played awful the 1st quarter and great the 3rd quarter, don’t know what to say about that.
Burks cant finish out the couple minutes yeah right! Take a Timeout. That was a perfect example of what Watson brings to the table. Nothing!!!! I dont know what else Watson excuse makers need??? Watson is horrific and does 1 thing average. When Corbin sub’d out Burks for this trash Ive never yelled so much at a tv in my life. It was gut Wrenching. What do you need Corbin to not play this guy? I think his stats alone should run him out of the league. Ive been saying this since last year, Watson wouldnt be on any other roster in the league. He is dead weight. Corbin leaves him in while Hayward and Burks do his job. Why is he in at that point? He cant shoot on the wing. He cant drive or cut to the basket. He can barely dribble! Corbin is a unbelievably huge moron. Tinsley is barley 1 step above. I hope this a eye opener to the FO……..Burks is beast!
