So much time too little Jazz

The author's views are entirely his or her own and may not reflect the views of the Utah Jazz.

Why does the off season seem to drag on for such a long time.  Even with all of the fun things that summer has to offer (i.e., wakeboarding, camping, hiking, etc.) I find myself longing for cold winter nights where I’m snuggled up to nothing other than my old Jazz blanket (gold and yellow, old logo, older than I am) watching the Jazz.  You can’t get enough Utah Jazz!  I usually go through a period of denial when they get eliminated from the playoffs that lasts about a month.  I don’t really want to think or talk about it.  However, once I have passed that stage, I’m back on track.  I start a countdown and take in whatever I can during the off season to quench my thirst, so to speak.

I think other Jazz fans would be interested in hearing my perspective.  I follow the Jazz through and through.  I follow what’s going on off and on the court.  I listen to what the experts are saying on both the national and the local level.  I’ve played and coached basketball and although it’s only been at the high school level, I feel that beings an interesting dynamic to the game, having been in the game and knowing how it is to be on the floor.  I’m not afraid to say what I think is wrong with the Jazz.  If they’re not playing well, I’ll be the first to point that out.  Not only do I follow the Jazz, but I follow the NBA as a whole and I think that’s vital to giving valuable insight on a game to game basis.  The bottom line is that I have a sincere and genuine passion for the Utah Jazz.  I’ve been going to games since I was a little guy and I love it.  I love being around it and I love sharing it.  I hope to share that passion and help others to become as passionate as I am.

I’ve known Adam since he was a wee tyke. He is about as die-hard as they come. His perspective is good and I’d love to see him given the opportunity to be an official blogger for the Jazz.
