I noticed on the NBA.com home page they view HOF players. Pistol Pete of the Jazz is on there and in the film he wears both #7 # 44  jerseys. Does anyone know why?

Also on nbadraft.net  there is a funny article  ”2011 NBA draft third round. ”  Something different.

I am not sure I understand the question perfectly. I know he wore #44 while playing for the Atlanta Hawks but I do not know of him wearing it for the Jazz. I think he wore #23 for the Celtics in 1980. Hope that helps.

The video was just of him with the Jazz and wore both numbers. I find that strange because Fess wore # 44 . I think Kobe has worn both 24, 8.. But all of you will get a kick out of the ” third round draft.”

I just know he wore number 44 because that was his college scoring average, and then when he was in Utah he switched to Number 7. But I am not sure why he did that. Then he went back to 23 in Boston cause that is the number he wore at LSU.

    # 7 is the one in the Jazz rafters correct?? Anyway he was fun to watch. A lot of smaller guards tried to be the “Pistol.”
