Meet
Jazz vs. Lakers

The author's views are entirely his or her own and may not reflect the views of the Utah Jazz.I’ve been very excited by the team so far after watching the preseason and how the Jazz are playing as a team. It doesn’t seem like any one player has a consistent huge night. It’s been Fes one night, Al another, CJ the next. Ok DWill is pretty consistent but that’s a given. Anyways Sloan was saying he likes the team play but hopes it continues because when the regular season starts some players try to get stats and get greedy. Our only hope of winning a Championship, Jazz, is TEAM play. The Celtics were able to knock off the Lakers with it and I think we have the talent that we can do it. We will definitely need hight as well and step up the defense. I have been excited about Big Al because I am hoping he will do better against the trees (Gasol/Bynom/Odom). However a little research and watching some Jefferson vs. Gasol highlights, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5jQXiqV46LU I don’t know that big Al is that much better against Gasol. He is just too quick and long and we are still gonna be some frustrated Jazz fans. I think the TWolves did not have as good team D so big Al had to leave Gasol a little which is too much. Also they were able to double big Al since the offense was not as good. Either way, we will need some big team defense from Big Al and Fes and I hope to see a big improvement from last year. Fes IS playing tonight so can’t wait to see our progress. The Lakers are the best measuring stick and nothing makes me happier than beating them. Good luck Jazz!!!

Big-Al will be fine I’ve seen him dunk on the big 3 in laker land also he has teammates to pass to now.
He will do much better than Booze on offense at least. He is really good at not getting blocked.
YES! Hayward finally has his breakout game!
Next are the Lakers lets see how much the Jazz improve, it might be a preseason game but is a also a good test for the new face Jazz. GO JAZZ GO.
I was way impressed with Big Al’s offense and defense on Gasol especially. He bodies him up and makes Gasol shoot over him. He even blocked Gasol!!! The Lakers got an 11 point lead and the Jazz didn’t give up! They actually fought back and won! And Haywards play was ridiculously good. 8 for 10. He is already doing as well as Korver. One on night per 4 off nights. But he is a rookie so I think he’ll definitely have the edge over KK. Now beat em again Tuesday Jazz!
