Boy are you asking for it. You are only about Fourteen Million off.
OFF TOPIC:
I’m still having major issues with this site.
It will only allow me to post the “title” of my blogs that I write, and not the body of the letter.
Until further notice, I’m pretty much restricted to only leaving comments on other people’s posts.
I think its a terrible idea that even if people wanted won’t work out money wise.
There are rules to trading.
This is an interesting trade. I love Josh Smith, but he is not worth both Big Al and Paul Millsap. Also, in order for the salaries to match, you would need to do something like this: http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=943fkr7 which would have us receiving Pachulia (C) & Jenkins (G).
That makes the money work, but I don’t think that the Jazz do this move as Josh Smith is on the last year of his contract and we may lose Al & Paul for nothing if he does not re-sign. Also, we only attempt to make this move if we feel that Kanter is ready to make the jump that we would need in our front court.
Conclusion: I love Josh Smith, but not for the price of our two best players.
So are you saying that giving up Millsap and Jefferson would be too much or not enough?? Are you saying it would be better to just sign him in the off-season?? Would we have enough money to go after him? How much do you think it would cost us to get him here??
You can’t give AL up if you’re trying to go for the all-ISO team!! Also lets get Tyreke Evans at PG and Monta Ellis at SG, and to cap it all off, maybe we could pick up Carmelo at SF.
All-ISO offense no defense team:
PG – Tyreke Evans
SG – Monta Ellis
SF – Carmelo Anthony
PF – Josh Smith
C – Al Jefferson
The trade isn’t even possible.
Josh and favors would be fun to watch though with hayward foye and mo in as well i think they would replace the clippers as the oop team in the league. Favors josh and hayward or williams would be a crazy athletic front court. Blocks and dunks galore.
