Its no secrete that our weak spot is at the point. That we would benefit from guys who moved around rather than sat around watching All in the post, hoping for an outlet pass rather than getting somewhere he could pass it to them. Some would even say we have a log jam that keeps our young guys, from getting much needed experience. Well, lets focus on the point for this post.
Been a while since I’ve been on, so this may just be a repeat of some other post. What can we do about getting us a good PG. He doesnt have to be an all star, even though Chris Paul could definately help the team. So, there are trade possibilities, the draft, and free agency. Who’s available?
Point Guards 2013 Draft
Michael Carter Williams Soph 6’5” 185lbs .39 FG% .27 3pt% 4.6 rb, 10.1 ast .7blk 3 st 12pts
Marcus Smart Fresh 6’4” 225 lbs .37 fg % .28 3pt% 6.2 reb 5.2 ast 1.2 blk 2.6 st 13.4 pts
CJ McCollum Sr 6’3” 190 lbs .50 fg% .53 3pt% 5.3 reb 3.0 ast .4 blk 1.5 st 25.7 pts
Trey Burke Soph 6’ 190 lbs .53 fg% .40 3pt% 3.1 reb 7.2 ast .3 blk 1.4 st 18.1 pts
Myck Kabongo 6’1” 180 lbs Soph .39 fg% .31 3pt% 3 reb 5.2 ast .1 blk 1.3 st 9.6 pts
2013 Free Agen Point Guards
Chris Paul LA Clippers 16 ppg 3.5 reb 9.3 ast
Mo Williams Jazz 12.9 ppg 2 reb 6.7 ast
Jose Calderon Toronto Raptors 10 ppg 2.6 reb 7.6 ast
Trade possibilites? Who wants to get rid of a good PG? Do you think that Mo Williams and Al Jefferson to Portland for Damion Lillard, Meyers Leonard, and a draft pick would work? Ha ha, right.
So how do we land a good PG, or two? Who do you think?
