  1. hmmm….. if this is true, i kind of wish we got a better deal out of it

  2. Derek S. says:

    PLAEEEEEEEEESE DONT BE TRUE!

A.Why would you do that to Millsap
    B. Barnes and Blake are hidious and won’t help us.

  3. This website doesn’t seem the most reliable. They spelled forward, formard. But if it is true I guess we are moving on to Favors. However, I hate trading with the Lakers because that means they are only going to be better and Millsap is going to take it to us when we play them.

Still am not sure about this trade. Can’t find anything else on it anywhere online.

  4. Austin says:

@Bracken i don’t think its very reliable either. IM just putting what i came across out for the Jazz fans to see. I hope its not true, it makes us worse and the Lakers that much better

  5. Gerald says:

Yeah, I was trying to find another source to say the same. I can’t find one.

  6. L.K.Anderson says:

Anyone who can’t spell Millsap right cannot be a very good source.. Try trolling somewhere else..

  7. Jake says:

LOL… This is such a joke. What do you think KOC is, a complete idiot? That doesn’t even come remotely close to value for SAP. Source is full of it, complete BS. If it was real I would be submitting my resume for GM tomorrow for the Jazz cause he(KOC) would be fired and they’d be searching for someone else.

Son’t need to know the source, just look at the details, KOC knows what he has in talent and knows the value of SAP and Barnes and Blake aren’t value at all, nor is a first round from LA. If LA gets some first round in trades that gives us a top 3 pick in 2012 then I’d say oh…ok that makes sense, but that ain’t happening. Plus I couldn’t see KOC trying to help teams in our conference get any better.

  8. KCJones says:

I would’ve bought Sap for Odom (not been ok with it, but believed it was a conceivably fair trade), but NOT Millsap for blake/barnes and a LA first rounder. That would be a terrible trade.

  9. Austin says:

never said it was true i was just putting it out cause i came acrossed it sorry for trying to put out info

  10. Blake and Barnes are 2 of my least favorite players next to JR Smith. Plus this makes zero sense since we supposedly have Harris, Watson and Tinsley signed.

I can’t believe Shannon Brown signed a one year deal in Phoenix for 3.5 mil. I wish we would have made that deal!

  11. Guido says:

It hurts, but I donĀ“t see this so far of the realism. Utah needs defenders and Barnes is a good one, plus Blake could be a decent back up of Devin. We have a lot of 4 guys too, but another pg? thats bull!@#$%, thats the freak part of this “deal” we need sg in fact.

  12. This is a joke of a website.

Austin get your sources from credible places.
    ESPN.com
    John Locke (usually via twitter)
These offshoot websites are a joke.
It’s like taking the bleacherreport seriously.

  13. notdeadyet says:

No way; KoC is smarter than that…

  14. Woody Palmer says:

i agree guys but you have to realize that fans always rarely are trades fair. I don’t like this trade but i really don’t think milsap brings back much more than this in a trade. all GMs will downplay his skills and focus on his main weakness of being undersized. They will al try to rob the Jazz knowing full well that milsap is worth much more than they are offering. The jazz won’t bite on this if it is real, both of these guys underperformed last year

  15. Jake says:

lol… Thats all Millsap is worth in a trade? LO!! No he’s worth way more in a trade. He has years ahead of him. He’s been all but injury free. He’s getting those points and rebounds while we had williams and jefferson, or Harris on the court so he’s not even close to a min scorer. If it was just him alot like Malone in the day you would see Millsap up around 22-4 PPG and 10+ rpg per night. But he has help so he doesn’t need to do that on his own… by the way, I’m not saying Millsap is Malone, Malone was insane (25ppg and 12rpg for a 19 year career is unheard of, and many seasons Malone played around 40 minutes per game with no injuries WOW) but I am saying that other teams see what he could be and he’s a deal and a half. I honestly think other teams would consider him fair trade for somone like a Granger, for sure for Odom in fact we would get the short end of that deal if it was straight across cause Odom is 31.

No my friend that is not all that Millsap is worth, he would easily go for 12-14 mill per year if he was a free agent now. West just got a 2 year $20 million deal coming off a bad knee injury and being 5 years older than SAP, which means Millsap would have easily got more than that from the Pacers.

  16. Ahhhhh says:

Nah, this is not true at all.
Nothing on twitter from Brian Smith or Locke….
    Just nonsense BS.

Jazz won’t trade the best player on the roster (currently)

  17. Colten Davis says:

@Kory: J.R. Smith is my least favorite player too :)

  18. bill says:

I don’t think Paul Millsap will be leaving Utah anytime soon via this unlikely trade scenario. This frivolous rumor is probably wishful thinking on the part of some Laker fan desperately trying to make sense out of the Lamar Odom trade. I find it very difficult to believe that KOC would trade Paul Millsap for the two mentioned above/a Laker first round pick. Picks 29/30 won’t get you much. This trade makes absolutely no sense what so ever. Just my take.
