I don’t think we are plus I don’t think he even wants to return to the Jazz anyway

  2. I hope he comes back also… It’s weird, last year it’s like AK was a ghost, nobody even talked about him. After all he did for the Jazz you would think that there would be a little talk of him. But it’s like they just wrote him off, didn’t retire his jersey or nothing. I love AK! He is an all around player and disrupts the other teams offense, he is so good on defense. We would kick ass if he came back.

I think its a wait and see game. It all depends upon what AK really wants, Money, or to play in the NBA. Most teams are jumping at young tallent, due to the new CBA, you may not see a lot of older guys with huge contracts, and if you do they will happen much later.

If we could get AK for around 4 mil, I think you have to do it. It does improve us.

AK has decided to return to the NBA this year and said that the Jazz and Nets are the two top teams on his list. The signing of Gerald Wallace makes it less likely he goes to Brooklyn, but he could still go there and play PF and/or backup Wallace. The trade for Marvin Williams makes it seem less likely that he’s in KOC’s future plans, but I’m not sure we’re done dealing yet and the fact that AK can play both SF and PF makes him an interesting prospect. Personally, I’d love to see us resign him, perhaps after some trade(s) involving our frontcourt.

    Please re sign him KOC!!!!!!

  6. We have bird rights to him so any salary we take on with him doesn’t hurt us. He is a great defender and I wouldn’t mind seeing him back for the right orice and coming off the bench for 20 min a game I don’t think his body could take much more than that.

I disagree with y’all. We should leave the cheer leading to the ones who have that in their job description. Who wants to pay for a cheer leader that costs millions a year anyways?

Why do we want him back? Taking time away from the young players. If we get rid of Al for nothing then maybe but other than that no

  9. Jazzaholic says:

Jazz have his Bird rights, but can’t sign and trade under new CBA. His contract runs to 7/15 in Russia, before he can look at the NBA again.

It all boils down to cost and contract length, but his options are now severely limited. The Jazz being probably his best bet, but not sure there will be the space or inclination by Kevin.

People say put Al on the bench. Then they say he is too good to be on the bench, but we all know that we don’t want him to start. So is he a starting player on a contending team?

People talk about giving Millsap 10mil per year, but this is too much, and there are articles that talk about how role players on teams don’t often get more than 5mil per year. Then they also say that we should have him on the bench.

Then we say that we want AK back at a good price, but I read people say 4mil per year. His price tag is probably around 7-8 mil per year.

Over these last few blogs this is what I’m reading. People don’t know what they are talking about or so confused they don’t know what they are saying.

I think its fair to say that Greg Miller isn’t a fan of AK. Remember that interview when Miller said he questioned some of his injuries?

I think bringing back AK is a terrible idea, he’s just not a durable player, he misses games and gets out of rhythm and then get plugged back into the starting line up and throws things off… that’s just the ebb and flow of AK’s season.

I wouldn’t pay him the vet min.
