The author's views are entirely his or her own and may not reflect the views of the Utah Jazz.Just a friendly reminder to all the doubters and nay sayers, to go back and look at my post from like 2 months ago when I said the Jazz would be in the playoffs,, THEY ARE!!! You would not believe how many people responded that did not think we could do it, thank you JAZZ for Proving them wrong. How many times already I have heard my own family and friends say, it’s great the young guys will be getting some exsperience but the Jazz will not make it out of the first round, NOT necaserilly true I believe we have a much bigger chance than most are giving us and with the talent we have,,the shot blocking, our bench,,we could pull off a BIG surprise,,GO JAZZ!!!

You can’t take that second step toward winning the championship, until you make that first step by making the playoffs.
Look at the path of OKC. They went from a lottery team, to a playoff team (losing a hard fought first round series to the Lakers two year ago), to a western conference finals team last season. Now they are knocking on the door of making the NBA Finals. It’s about progression. It’s a tough climb, and it doesn’t all happen over night.
I honestly can not believe I am saying this but I think our best opportunity to image this series competitive is to start the big lineup and beat the crap out of the aging Spurs

I think i’m probably the most optomisstic JazzFan out there. It can be good and bad. lol But if you ask anybody that knows me they always say, “you have way to much faith in the Jazz man…”
I think we can give the Spurs a run for their money and I hope we do because I really don’t want Many, Parker and Duncan to win again. Especially Many since all of Argentina thinks he’s better then MJ.

I was 100% sure the Jazz would miss the playoffs. I was 100% wrong. I’m a believer now.
Read a little article (Hang Time maybe?) that said the Spurs would much rather play the Suns in the first round than the Jazz because the Jazz have a”brutish” front court.
Spurs are getting old to be getting manhandled by Derrick Favors, Paul Millsap, and Al jefferson in the paint…
Go big and we win. Slow down Tony Parker, give some hard fouls to Ginobli, but Favors on Duncan, and the Spurs better watch their asses. Because there just might be an upset AGAIN.
I sincerely believe that if we played any other team than the Spurs in the first round, we would dominate.
That being said, if we do beat the Spurs, I think we have a chance to make it to the semi finals.
Seems crazy I know. But then again, I was convinced the Jazz wouldnt even make the playoffs. Our team is gelling in all the right ways at exactly the right time.
I think we can do some damage in the postseason.

Hey, bold prediction there, considering we’d be in the semifinals if we beat the Spurs.
I predicted the 8th seed to my friends this year and took a lot of heat for it. They look like a bunch of douches now because I was right.
Hey, Brandon, I was optimistic from the start. If you read my replies? Or any of you ‘doubting Thomas’ fans out there. Need to shut up the negativity about the Jazz getting in the playoffs! Cheer on our Utah Jazz 1st round series in San Antonio. “Lets Go Jazz!”
