Well maybe he should quit thinking and do it cause LA is coming after us in the standings I think he should start Burks,Foye,Hayward,Milsap,Al or Carroll for Hayward and don’t play Williams at all.

This lineup isn’t the cup of tea of many of the fans but luckily for the players concerned Corbin is a coffee drinker, I don’t see him changing his drinking habits now. He might add a little more milk to his coffee but that will probably be as far as it goes.

  2. John says:

he’ll probably just switch tinsley with watson

Probably reinsert Raja into starting line up??? Who the heck knows; Josh Howard is floating around somewhere.

I wished Corbin center his starting line up around Hayward, that way Al gets bench, as opposed to the other way around.

    #StartC4!

  4. Steven says:

An offense with Hayward’s athleticism would be a heck of a lot more entertaining.

  5. Only thinking? Better late than never. We will see if he shakes it up correctly! Corbin probably just switches Tinsley for Watson!

I really hate the idea that, “it doesnt matter who starts, its who finishes the game that matters?” Really?! It does matter when the unit that starts the game plays like duds and to start 2nd half play like duds, the ending of the game tends to be out of hand by then.

Jazz have 3 straight games at home; this is a perfect time to start the C4. Not to mention that against Boston wed have a significant advantage with Kanter v. KG, and Favors v. Bass. Instead of Al, even with size advantage taking 15-17ft jump shots and Sap being like Bass an undersize PF.

Ok, I’ve been patient enough, I agree that it’s time to stir it up a bit. Marvin is not productive enough to be in the starting lineup, in fact he barely isn’t productive at all on offense. I like his work on the defensive end though, but still not good enough to be the starting SF in this team.
I think DMC has shown proven himself to be more than worthy to be a starter. It might even be time to start Hayward again. The reason he was left out the starting lineup in the 1st place was to see if he could get going with his game, take some pressure from him. He now is showing to be a consistent scorer and I think it might be time to put him up front again.
Either way, and as much as I like his work ethics, I think Marvin needs to ride the pine a bit.

Agree about the PG position as well, I’m not saying clear out DNP Jamaal and Earl, but we definitely have to try out other things. I think Foye has done a decent job whenever he’s had to play the PG. Give more minutes to Burks and Foye at the PG, the current display we’re showing at the court on that position right now is unacceptable.
Give both Jamaal and Earl very limited minutes, only whenever you need to give the other guys a rest. I do like Watson’s work on the deffensive end, maybe use him when the game requires for putting pressure in mid or full court in close games. We need to use our assets more wisely.

To wrap it up, it’s those 2 positions where coach Ty needs to bring something else. I’ll be dissapointed if I keep seeing the same thing in the following games.

I don’t know about anyone else but having the Fakers and Mavs miss the playoffs will make my season sweet. Also Faker gave up their draft choice this year. Being in the lottery would it be great to have that pick move up high??

I think the only way it is beneficial for Hayward to start is if Favors starts as well. Ideally, I would like to see Mo, Foye, Hayward, Favors, Jefferson with Burks kind of taking the spot Hayward had with the reserves.

Realistically, I think we will just see a swap of Marvin and Demarre. Even then, it’s hard to see the FO being fine with Corbin benching Marvin, a 7.5 mil contract who by the way can pick up an option for the same next year.

  10. Jazzaholic says:

Bring DeMarre in for not-so-marvelous Marvin, play Gordon only at guard along with Foye and Alec, in a 3 guard rotation, and sit Jamaal and Earl.

Marvin out of the starting lineup?

    GREAT SUGGESTION…

Now who’s going to be the guy to pass it into Al and watch him shoot and score inefficiently?

  12. Andy says:

LOL the substitution is Earl instead of Jamaal!

I actually think this is good if that means Alec becomes 2nd string but that’s a pipe dream. I feel like Marvin is the elephant in the room we just ignored.

  13. PREDICTABLE!!!!!! I CALLED IT !!!!! LOOK UP ^

  14. John says:

    I called it first :P

  15. Logan says:

why isnt caroll mentioned as one of our core young players he’s in his 4th or 5th year and is a total beast on defense and is the only one with energy on the team, and I totally LOVE him.

  16. john you did! I really didnt see that! Maybe I should read all the posts! lol great minds think a like. Sad Corbin is so predictable!
