The author's views are entirely his or her own and may not reflect the views of the Utah Jazz.Ok now I don’t care if you hate him of love him! But if your going to say something mean don’t say it!!!
I wanna see him play! Why doesn’t he? He’s a great young player! Now I love love love the Jazz and all but I’m tired of seeing the same players! What about you guys? I’ve seen what he can do!
What are your thoughts? Who do you wanna see more of? How about less of?
I’m not saying names but! They have been so inconsistent! And I don’t get how we won tonight? We played ok! But we should have killed them! All I’m saying is let new people play the game more!!!!
Go Jazz! <3 Go Jazz

Theres no excuse for Burkes to be riding pine like this period. Its killing this kids career. His agent is probably working him out of Utah right now. Its going to be one of Utahs biggest mistakes. I dont see it changing unless we get a different coach that can use talent effectively.
Evans mid range jumper and low post offense are still non existant. At 190 lbs he can be pushed around easily when establishing position. I love Evans but he needs to have better handles and shooting and play the SF position to play in this league.
Yes I would love to see more Burks. But he can’t just start shot chucking as soon as he gets in or he’ll be put on the bench.
Foye can spread the court alot better then burks agreed its killing his career
But foye is performing better and with hayward and carrol are playing like they are he wont get in. Its hard to see this happen to burks especially when he showed such promise last year but the fact is he isn’t putting up numbers like the players ahead of him are. Im not trying to be mean but its the truth carrol was getting junk minutes like burks he made the most of it burks didn’t he just isn’t performing when he does get into the game.
Burks is a better talent than Foye period. Gaurantee that Foye got a chance to get his feet wet and he made alot of mistakes when he was young. burks is better than Foye at the same age. Burks has better defense , hes faster on breaks, and hes a better passer with longer reach when he does pass. He’s young we need a coach that can teach him something. And handing him DNP’s doesnt teach him anything and it better be an FO decision or Corbin should be fired.
This comes down to the team’s priority list. #1 being win now. Which is great. Usually. But the price of ‘winning now’ (and Corbin seems to think the only way to do that is to play veterans) is the lost development of young talented players like Burks and Evans, and Kanter and Favors to an extent. A big price, IMO, when the ceiling of this group of vets is.a lower seed play-off team, and who are almost all on the last years of their contacts, meaning its highly likely they won’t even be with the team next year. Does everyone else see the problem with this for our team one, two or three years down the road?
Wastson is this year cancer, he makes a sucked team.
Burks > Watson I said… cmon… even Hayward at pg as he do on college.
Here are my players that are expendable (meaning could be included in a trade should there be one): Earl Watson, Jamaal Tinsley, Demarre Carrol. Earl can’t shoot and isn’t a great facilitator, in my mind, we could do better. Jamaal can’t shoot well either and is getting old, but he does pass well and he’s a good guy. I think we could get all that in someone new. Demarre is a good defender and hustler, but he isn’t a great scorer. If the above PG’s weren’t hear, we should try to do position less basketball at the one, two, and three spots. Mo, Foye, Hayward, and Alec can all handle the ball. Why can’t there be a mix of these guys, especially when we play our zone defense??? There are ways to solve this problem, Corbin just needs to do them!!!
Jazz uponit have you watched foye play for the jazz he has been the third or fourth best player we have. Yeah you can try take minutes away from earl or tinsley but i wouldn’t take minutes away from foye when he is playing like he. With how he is playing i would hands down play foye over burks any day of the week. Got to find anther spot tk put burks because he cant outshine foye right now.
I to would love to see Burks get more playin time , but there must be somethin that we as fans have no knowledge of . I am sure that Corbin is tryin , look at all the line-ups that is tryin . But we have to remmeber that players are not cooperating with him either .
I think that the only thing that hasnt been tried is puttin Big Al on the bench . I would not be surprised if we see that bein tried soon , except if Al plays like he did last night on a regular basis .
I hope that we will see more of Burks soon . Lets go Jazz !!!!
@Trevor Yeah Ive watched every game, and Foye is a specialist. He is shooting well right now for sure, but career statistcally he is on a streak. Any player can score with that many shot attempts. Its just like the Al debate. Less than 1 point per possesion is not awesome. But Al does hit late game shots. So does Foye so I dont mind playing him while he is on a streak as long as he is not getting burned on defense as bad as he has been in games against quick gaurds. Burks could score 20 ppg with the same minutes and a green light like foye has. With better defense.
Maybe im thinking too far outside the box, but if Foye is hot play Burkes at PG.
Well until he cools down you have to play him really dont have a choice hes playing better then burks right now
