Does anyone have a number to call so I can apply for a job?
I say good for him.
When he leaves maybe Watson will be called up as the coach..
It is now a done deal. He is a spur..
And for the guy who liked Blake Ahearn he is a Pacer..
He knew he was destined to be an assistant with the jazz so he went to the spurs to get back into the front office. I think he will be very good for them and one day end up a good gm.
The NBA is a business, nothing personal!
Experts say it’s a good career move especially if one wants to be on the fast-track.
I liked Scott. Good move for him, and best wishes. He supposedly was the go to guy for Corbin, so if thats true we will probably see the impact this season. I was such a fan of Corbins work for most the season last year, but after the bad lineup changes; winning games because our least talented players got injured and seeing Favors being the most dominant player without a green light just puts Corbin into a big question mark going into this season. IMO he has more to prove this season than last.
I’d rather have lost Corbin than Layden. I’m happy for Scott and it’s interesting that we did a personnel swap with the Spurs. I like to see guys that are familiar with our organization alongside Ty because I don’t feel that he’s capable of making tough decisions and making them correctly. I hope we don’t lose Hornacek too or there will be very little left common sense left in our coaching staff.
Thanks for all your responses guys!
@Jazzed uponit and @Zach, absolutely correct!! That is exactly what Im thinking.
@LK I think thats a great idea, Watson has no value as a player, but as a coach has a ton of value.
I have never been impressed by Layden.
