I can’t remember the last time I was uneasy when the Jazz lead by 13 in the fourth quarter. I can’t remember the last time the Jazz broke my heart so many times in so few games.
I remember a post a little bit ago titled “losing sleep”. I knew I didn’t even need to read the post because I knew exactly how the author felt. Literally losing sleep over a game may be pathetic… but its happening.
All of my roommates usually end up falling asleep watching the Jazz games with me because they end up being 4 hours long because there’s so many sexual plays from the Jazz that I cant help but rewind them several times. This game was no different.
That alley oop from Earl to CJ was one of the greatest things I’ve seen all year. The first dunk from Howard was sick. That save from Earl (off his own miss) back into Favors was almost too much. When Al had the ball 1 on 1 against Love at the end, I knew he would make it.
All of those great plays down the toilet. My heart in a million pieces. Losing sleep. I have to have this feeling for 4 days. Sigh.

I too chuckled when I read “sexual plays.” Got a little confused and had to do a double take on that one. Think our boy meant “sexy” plays. Funny how two little letters make all the difference.
Anyway, I feel your pain, Colten. I’ve been depressed for the last two weeks. Amazing how much I let my team control my mood. I take it way close to the heart.

Also, I cringe every time they thow it to CJ. I know exactly what he’s going to do. Chuck up a shot. Not dribble and let cutters cut and plays develop, not try to assess the situation, not try to create a shot for a teammate, not try to get in rhythm and get his man off-balanced for a better shot. No, CJ’s brain works like this when he gets a pass:
‘Here comes the ball! I have the ball!! I have it!! SHOOT IT! SHOOOOOT IT!’
I think Memphis runs more sexual plays than anyone else in the league. It seems like half the offensive sets they have are them taking it to the hole with Gay penetration followed by pulling out for the money shot or passing it off to a teammate. Downright pornographic.
