Meet
I hate Golden State

The author's views are entirely his or her own and may not reflect the views of the Utah Jazz. All of this GM talk lately, adding to the fact that the Jazz didn’t make any moves at the trade deadline got me thinking… F Golden State.
It pisses me off beyond all reason how the NBA has gotten to the point where everything is rigged. Players get to pick where they go. Owners could care less about their fan base, they’ll kill a half of season of basketball just to save a few dollars over the next 6-10 years. The Jazz are a small market? The Millers own the whole state of Utah. A pick that you aquire through a trade most likely will not come to fruition because that team has a plan to either trade that pick to a team that plans to tank the season, or just tank it themselves.
Anywho the reason I’m writing this is because our draft pick from Golden state went right down the s#itter (pooper if you’d prefer). I know this has been brought up in comments and posts before, but when you sit and think about it… Golden states GM is a genius, and an ass. He screwed us royally… “Lets get rid of our high volume shooter to get an injured top 5 center that cant play the rest of the year so that we lose the rest (exaggerated) of our games this season so that we can get a lottery pick, come back next season with a starting line up of Stephany Curry, (top 5 pick), Dorell Wright, David Lee, and Andrew Bogut.” (not an actual quote).
If God exists Golden State will end up with the 8th worst record in the league.
One last thing… Dwight Howard was my favorite player outside of the Jazz until this year. I read an article and watched a clip of how Orlando fans gave Dwight a standing ovation… I wish they would’ve thrown things at him.
Rant to be continued. (the game against Minnesota was sick)

Amen brother.
Honestly, I think the trade will make them significantly better, but not until next year. It wouldn’t be beneath Golden State to purposely tank just to screw us out of the pick. I fervently hate how rigged the league is now as well. Dwight deserves almost as much hate as LeBron got in my opinion, but it’s not like the fans are going to treat him the way he deserves because then there would be zero chance of him staying.
I disagree with you’re claim that the Jazz aren’t a small market. Market size is based on how many people live in a team’s area, television deals, and merchandise popularity. It is not about how much money a team’s owner has.
