Its time to say goodbye to AK

The author's views are entirely his or her own and may not reflect the views of the Utah Jazz.1st let me start by saying, I have put my foot in my mouth, At the beginning of the year i was so sure that we would be ok in the absence of Matthews and Korver. As we see, there is no up for the deep ball, and i thought Bell and AK would provide a great deal of good 3 point percentage. Man was i wrong, and i APOLOGIZE to all i argued with, that Bell would bring leadership and toughness that the other 2 did not bring. Well hes bringing the toughness, but not much else. In my opinion he has stunk it up. Miss after miss on wide open 3 point shots. Bogus. Now lets get to sir AK. Am I the only person seeing that this man is a floor crawl away from being total GARBAGE. The D this man possessed 5 and 6 years ago has vanished, big time. The shot he had during the same time span, has done the same thing. We need a major upgrade at the 2 and 3 spot or we are looking at total meltdown. His expiring contract could net us a pretty decent player, and throw in bell just for the hell of it. Our best shooter is on the bench (Miles), lets get him more minutes. But in my honest opinion, if we wanna get better now, trade AK while he has value with his contract. Our team is falling apart, we need to make a major move, before we get even worse, and continue to !@#$% off D-Will.

If AK never shoots another jump shot this season I will be happy. I agree with all your assessments except for Miles. I dont believe Miles is the answer to anything. He is the 3rd string guard on a few teams who have knocked down big points against us this season. He needs to take the ball to the hoop rather than take the long jump shot ad bloody nauseum.
I would also say that if it was allowed we should trade AK for a bag of new basketballs.
Lol, new basketballs huh? Oh and i Dont think he is the awnser, i just think hes our best shooter.
Even though AK is an expiring contract, who is honestly willing to trade for him? He should have been traded 3 years ago while he still had some value, and no I’m not just saying this now. I wanted Andrei gone a long time ago.
AK needs to go. Along with Sloan. Thats all I have to say…
Sloan won’t be around much longer anyway. And most likely we’ll all be wishing for him once he’s gone. Seriously, there are like 1-3 coaches MAYBE better than Sloan in the league…and they aren’t going to be leaving their teams to come coach the Jazz. It’s going to be Phil Johnson after Sloan anyway, so what’s the point? That kind of coaching stability prevents most whining, complaining, and blaming problems on the coaching because players know none of that is going to change anything so they better just get back to workin hard.
Coach Sloan gone what are some people thinking i mean thats how you show respect to a hell of a basketball coaching legend? AK sure he has been a disappointment and i was against him been trade but his actions speaks louder than words so i believe in the second half he wiil be gone, i just hope along with some other guys that i have recently mention but fired coach Sloan thats really ungrateful thinking.
I’ve got one foot on and one foot off the “trade AK” bandwagon. I don’t argue with anyone that he’s overpaid for what he does, but I still think he provides things for this team that don’t show up on the stat sheet. He’s definitely slowing down though, so I wouldn’t mind if we at least got some younger talent for him. The thing I think needs to be done IMMEDIATELY is sitting Raja’s butt on the bench to start games. How to you give starter minutes to a guy who’s line was 0 pts, 1 ast, 1 reb, 1 turnover, and 0 steals last night? I think Raja is a perfectly nice guy but if he’s not producing ANYTHING he shouldn’t be on the floor.
Yes, Sloan is a good coach, but damn… Its the same offensive system since the stockton malone era. I am in complete disbelief on how raja bell is even a starter. I dont know, something just needs to change before d will starts demanding a trade.
