The author's views are entirely his or her own and may not reflect the views of the Utah Jazz.I think ive been saying this all summer.. we got better at pf. you give me 30 to 38 minutes a game with boozer and milsap, im taking milsap everytime. milsap runs the floor better, his D is 100% better, his free throws are equal, his rebounding is equal, and the one thing you would never say bout boozer but say about paul…. his hustle is outstanding. plus he wont cry when he finds out 6 months into his contract, that he isnt the best player on his team.. mr big ego has been shutting it down ever since. i still believe wes was a product of mr sloan, and it might be shown when portland is at full strength come reg season. as much as i like aj, bell was our best pickup this offseason.wes mite have hustled but his d does not compare to bells, nor does his 3 point shooting. bell mite have not played that much a year ago, but lets remember, it was a finger so he still has fresh legs, its time to d up.. if ak starts a tha 3, we will be tops on d, cuz ak on 1 wing, bell on the oher, i say bring it. Korver is a great shooter, but we dont need great 1 out of 5 games, we need great every game, and with the 3 as your only benefit, u have to be a killer every night. korver wasnt. The post should be ok, because we will have ak and paul helping block shouts, hopefully, jefferson is working on d. For all the fes hatas out there, that big body is gonna come in xtra handy when he learns his footwork. im a fan, he may not be a game changer but i see alot of andrew bynum in him. bynum isnt a game changer, but with his size and lenght he clogs tha middle and rebounds and blocks alot of shots, go fessssss, hurry and develope. our bench will be as good as ak. if hes the starter, we will dominate, if we bring him off the bench, then we finally have a pg that will get him the ball in his spots. go earl watson. kudos to KOC. My 5, williams, bell, ak, paul, aj.. our bench, miles, watson, hayword fes and elson, until memo returns. If we flipflop miles and ak, we are better on the bench, and our starters take a hit on the wing defensively, but offensivly we will survive. as long as we are healthy and dwill is our point, ill take my five to the house on any 5 in the nba. including the one in miami. not only are we better on paper, we are better on the floor, well we will be come reg season and everyone learns the offense, In my opinion, we are about to shock the west, (if everyone stays healthy). I completely agree I believe could easily make the playoffs at a number 2 seed if we can stay healthy we can be very deadly in the west and push.
