Yes please, even if his tattoos are among the ugliest in the league. i.e. Birdman, Deshawn Stevenson, JR Smith. I like a good tattoo, but these guys got ripped off…ANYWAY Monta would be a huge addition to our team, with him, hopefully Raja Bell would never waste another minute of precious Jazz playing time.
I take it back, dude is effing expensive I’d rather develop Burks and Hayward for our SG/SF’s of the future than pay this dude what he’s making at Golden State, and I just read about his current sexual harassment scandal.. meh.
I think that they try to pick up a three point shooter, not sure who’s available. Likely, someone of the Kyle Korver variety. Unfortunately this will take valuable time from our youngs but this is my guess. Personally I wouldn’t mind seeing a package deal to somehow land us another proven point guard. Yes, I know we have several already but they aren’t cutting it and I don’t believe that they will. Harris has really struggled to pick up the offense and he’s had a while now, even though he’s only played 17 games he had all season to study the playbook, but that’s besides the point, throw the book out and he’s just not makin good basketball moves.

Monta would destroy this team people. He’s a ball hog and does not make his teammates better. He can score, but that’s not the same as winning. Plus he a registered sext offender now apparently.
only one “people” on this post called for Monta and did not retract it. I called for him then retracted it almost instantly when I realized how much he makes. If we just let Hayward play SG he can produce in the same ballpark as Monta for much cheaper and he is way bigger and better for most SG defensive matchups. And he doesn’t have a massive ugly body tattoo
Hayward????? SG in the NBA you real got faith in the kid….. no dont see it dont buy it…Hope he proves me wrong, not only play one good game and puff he vanish for the next 10.

KOC has something in the works….its called a $10M cheaper payroll and an overpaid 3rd-string Center off the roster.
Not that I don’t love Memo….but Jefferson and Kanter need the minutes at C.
Also, I think the #1 thing that would help this team is a pass-first point guard of the CP3/Nash/Rondo variety. Do they make those anymore?
Maybe he’s going after Nash or Rondo. That would be fantastic
Interesting side note: the Nets have signed Deshawn Stevenson. So if they end up picking up AK too, as is widely speculated they will, the Nets starting lineup could potentially consist of Deron Williams, Deshawn Stevenson, Andrei Kirilenko, Kris Humphries, and Mehmet Okur…
Oh my goodness TacoRev, that is kinda creepy. Now we will have the Utah Jazz, the Chicago Jazz, and the New Jersey Jazz

I was thinking along those some lines myself and I kind of wonder which of those teams will have the best record, this year at least. Pretty sure it won’t be the Utah Jazz. Feel almost like the Utah Jazz and Jerry Sloan have been the training ground for other teams the last few years.
we should seriously try to get rajon rondo he would make this team very dangerous.
Rondo would actually have to WANT to play here before he made us any better. I don’t know that that would be the case.
Let’s develop what we have and when the right time and deal comes along we will be in a position to pounce on it.
