GB vs. USA

Finally, proper basketball in England! I’ll be on the 6th row in my (purple/blue) Jazz top representing UK Jazz fans (let me know if you see me, ha!). I’d like to think I’ll be watching one potential Jazz player in Iggy (clutching at straws) but then there will be Deron Williams: to boo, or not to boo? He kind of went up in my estimations after he signed an extension with the Nets, and then when Howard didn’t end-up signing too, was also most pleasing. Apologies for the lack of interesting post, there’s just no basketball out there and I’m just quite excited for tomorrow! USA by 25-30.

Sweet! I’ll be looking for you. And don’t boo D-Will he did a lot of good things for this franchise and community!

Always glad to hear there are Jazz fans elsewhere. Don’t be stupid and boo Deron. He didn’t ask to be traded, he changed the Jazz from a lotto team to a contender, and he gave us nearly six great years. He’s no primadonna Dwight, dirtbag Carmelo, or even traitor/do it the easy way Nash. He’s still a class act in my opinion.

I didnt know the poms had a basketball team. I hope the Boomers get to wipe the floor with you guys at some stage in the tournament. Sorry, pommy bashing is what we aussies do best.
@Dave – You’re very lucky. The odds of Team USA or the Jazz headed to Australia are ridiculously small so I am very jealous

@disco, you could see them in the 2000 olympics tournament, but sorry you could not play against them in the Final, My guys kicked you off in semi……. ;)

I remember that game French dude, very disappointing. It was almost impossible to get TeamUSA tickets because of the stupid ballot system they used.
