Yeah, Taco Tyson, this is the point where the baseball player has already stuck out, but he refuses to accept it and stands on the plate waiting for his next pitch. Eventually he has to be dragged off the baseball field kicking and screaming.
Davis, there’s lots of good people in the world and I’m sure you’re one of them. If you make blogs that people don’t like, then we are going to be critical. Doesn’t mean we’re bad people, it just means we’re honest people. You need to learn that you can be heard just as loud by commenting on the blogs as you will making your own. Now, usually I am nice to people who are new and don’t know better. However, you were told in your first blog not to do that. You rebel and create a second blog. You were told a second time in that blog not to do that. You rebel and create a third blog. You are told a third time to stop and now people are getting a little annoyed. So what do you do? You create a fourth blog. Now I hope you can figure out why there are lots of people on your case now. It got old after the second one.
Now do people see why new people should have to earn the rite to create new blogs on this site?

There are hundreds if not thousands of us nice people out here that appreciate your willingness to share your thoughts and ideas with us. You need to know that no one on here has the authority to “warn” you about anything. They are not in control and have absolutely nothing to say about what gets posted here, in other words no one died and made them king. The phrase “However, you were told in your first blog not to do that.” is completely bogus and not worth worrying about. Please continue to share your ideas and know a vast majority of us realize we nor any small group of friends are not in charge.
Good call Deb. Davis, don’t let a few people stop you from posting whatever you feel is good. These other guys have to compensate by posting that stuff because it makes them feel more like a man.
Way to quote Sara Bareilles, Deb. Very subtle. No one died and made us king of anything, that’s true. We aren’t in control, you’re right. No one is in control, and that’s the point. Which is contradictory to your statement. I can’t penalize someone, but I can warn whoever the heck I want and there ain’t nothin’ you can do about it. I can tell people to stop doing something at anytime, which makes your statement of calling us completely bogus, completely bogus. I can tell you Deb to stop being a biased, over-controlling Jazzbot. I can even warn you if I want. All that I am doing is trying to make this site better so that more Jazz fans will want to jump on board and join the discussion. Isn’t that what this is all about? With all the repetition and all the new blogs posted every day this site is just going to coast in popularity at best, with it losing popularity at best. Now tell me, Deb, what experience do have with blog and forum websites? How do you know what works best? I don’t think you have any outside this website. Prove me wrong and put your money where your mouth is.

Adam, what is the problem dude? The way you act on here makes people want to jump off board. Your not helping the popularity by making people feel unwelcome. Who cares if someone posts something that has already been discussed? Dont read it if it bothers you. You can warn people all you want, but guess what? No one really cares. Seriously, why would anyone? Your calling Deb a biased, over controlling jazzbot? Why? Were all Jazz fans, and just want to talk about the Jazz. I thought that was the purpose. Davis, post whatever you want.
the HEAT love fest was to much for me man. write a well thought out good sized blog/article about jazzish topics and your golden. leave anything smaller or more in the thoughts department for comments. just two things thats it my friend.
i agree post blogs like a mad man if you can. you know take some speed stay up for three days and give us 10,000 words on big al’s relationship with his grand mothers (might be loosely based on an almost famous quote unless no one picks that up)

Gert, you missed the point. I don’t make new people feel unwelcome. If someone comes on and posts 4 new blogs in 4 days that are really kinda dumb and he was told to tone down after the first one or two but kept going then those are the people I try to stop because they are just spamming the message boards and no one appreciates that. That’s all Gert. No reason to be a hater against me.

I am simply a Jazz fan who wants to have a discussion with other Jazz fans without warning them about how to write or what to write. You go ahead and criticize whomever you do not agree with and someday maybe you and your friends can have this site all to yourselves, having scared away anyone else. This is not a job, there is no money involved and I do not get paid for it, so my qualifications are none of your business and there IS NOT anything you can do about it.

Ok, Deb, that smart alec comment was unnecessary. I criticize blogs I don’t agree with. I praise blogs I do agree with. Why is that so hard to comprehend? Do I have to praise and sweet talk every single blog and comment I read. That would get rather cheesy you know. It’s good to have varying opinions.

The dumb part is you say, “..newscasters have no feelings..” uuuuhhh… you said I was sensitive so you must have FELT that about me because I didn’t say I was upset or any other feeling. Just responded with facts pal. Like I said, freelance newscaster, your feelings of me and what I feel are all over this. And as you know, newscasters that get in the middle of the news, usually become the news.

Easy there everyone. @Champ, I really wasn’t seriously questioning your manhood or anything like that, I was just giving telling Davis to keep at it on the site like everyone else. He’s just getting into the swing of things like everyone else had to. “Please! This is supposed to be a happy occasion. Let’s not bicker and argue over who killed who.”
Wow…this post was not a smart post at all. I’m not saying he can’t post anything he wants, but Adam did warn him that he “shouldn’t” post anything. As much as Davis has the right to post anything he wants, so does also anyone have the right to come and carpet-bomb his butt for those posts. This was a dumb post. And he probably knew that he would get a reamed a bit.
As for the emotional stuff. Champ, JC, Jako, you all got emotional to some extent. Even I am as I type this. Emotional doesn’t have to be sad, or happy. It can be of any of the gambit of emotions. (Although Champ, you sure do amuse me, haha.)
If you don’t want to have an onslaught against you, be constructive in your posts/comments. Also do a little reading of the boards first.

If you weren’t seriously questioning his manhood, don’t make comments like that, because it sounds like you are.
Can we honestly cut it with the “We’re all Jazz fans, let’s all get along and be best friends” comments? Just because we are all Jazz fans, it doesn’t mean we have the same opinions about the Jazz and it doesn’t mean that we all have matching personalities that will never rub people the wrong way.
@JC- Make a blog with all my comments on this site to see if they match up? Well, alright. That’s a dumb idea. I think it’s the funniest anti-me comment I’ve read thus far, though. If you haven’t noticed, I tend to speak my mind and some times I’m in different moods and going through different emotions. Of course some are going to seem a lot weirder and stronger at times.
