Meet
Alec Burks!!!!!

The author's views are entirely his or her own and may not reflect the views of the Utah Jazz.finally coach corbin gave him a chance in non garbadge minutes and he proved himself. sure it wasn’t alot but 5 points isn’t bad. especially since he hit a 3-pointer. burks can create his own shot and is an incredible slasher. if he keeps working on the outside shot he could be an all-star. yes i said it. but you can’t tell me he is to young and raja is better anymore because he almost scored more points than raja has the whole season and he is a hustler.

He’s gonna be real good, he’s athletic and technic, I hope (rookie) coach gave him more minutes
Hopefully in a week or so (sooner if I had any say) our starters will be Harris, Hayward, Howard, Favors and Jefferson. With Burks and Miles coming off the bench with Watson, Millsap and Evans/Kanter but still have a feeling Bell will be getting 15-20 min a night.
The only place Bell belongs at this point in the arena, is next to Harpring putting honey in his tea.
Y U NO PLAY BURKS MORE?!!!
His game actually reminds me a little of Wesley Matthews. If I remember correctly, it took a few games for Wes to break into the rotation and eventually into the starters role. I’m 100% positive that if Burks keeps giving valuable minutes whenever Ty calls his number he’ll find himself with a bigger role, especially if he continues to out play Bell. Eventually Ty will be forced to give Burks more minutes.
If Burks plays hard in practice, and continues to focus on the defensive end of the floor, his playing time will increase. His scoring, and passing skills are already quite evident.
Still behind in the learning curve, but wait till he catches up. Like this kid.
Might be behind the curve but better than Bell right now!
Burks should get more minutes, he proved it again tonight, ok only 1/6fg but went to the line more than anyone on the team.
In response to ‘Jason Michael Crannell’: I agree with you, but it’s hard for him to play hard in practice, since the team hasn’t practiced an awful lot this season; given the lockout. So his contribution so far is thus even more impressive.
