Deron do what Deron does!!! Never has there been a truer statement. Deron Williams is the only player in NBA history to score 20+ points and 10+ assists in the first five games in a playoff series. Magic hasn’t done it. Larry hasn’t done it even the great Michael Jordan hasn’t done it!
Deron Williams is averaging 28.2 points and 11.6 assists in this first round series against Denver. Deron’s counter part, Chauncy Billups is only averaging 18.4 points and 6.0 assists in the playoffs. Many experts stated before the series began – in this particular series – the play of Deron and Chauncy would be a wash. That their play would basically cancel each other out.
Like most predictions by the experts boy were they wrong on this prediction. Because Deron do what Deron does. Deron Williams is the reason the Jazz have a 3-2 lead going into tonight’s critical Game 6.
Lets go Deron, Lets go Jazz!! Lets show what this team is made of. Many ESPN experts are now saying the Jazz should be winning this series. They are saying Denver is such in disarray that there should be no reason that Utah wouldn’t win the series. That is not what they were saying nearly two weeks ago when the series began. All Jazz fans heard about is how Melo would dominate us and the Nuggets would easily win this series.
Now that Nene is out for Game 6 and of course George Karl is still gone from the team, the media can only talk about what a disadvantage the Nuggets have going into the game. Lets forget that Utah is still missing two starters, the media always does.
Lets hope that Deron once again performs his magic and leads the Jazz to victory tonight. Deron do what Deron does! Go Jazz!

Jazz gotta win tonight. Thunder gotta win tonight. If the Jazz start the second round on sunday at 1:30ET, it will be tough.
“Now that Nene is out for Game 6 and of course George Karl is still gone from the team, the media can only talk about what a disadvantage the Nuggets have going into the game. Let’s forget that Utah is still missing two starters, the media always does.”
You are right on target there! This Nuggets team hasn’t changed much at all from the team thought was supposed to steam roll the Jazz into an early summer. Now suddenly the Nuggets are the underdog with the disadvantages; kind of funny how things work. The Jazz have a series lead so everybody forgets they are severely injured. The fact that the Jazz are probably going to win a series NOBODY gave them a chance to win is a “testament to human potential! ”
P
We need a win tonight baby and bring on the Thunder and let them smoke LA tonight.
Count me amongst the wrong saying they’d play to a wash. Boy, am I glad to be wrong!

@Ben I really didn’t think of your post about the matchups until my post was already up.
Until this game. I give him props and he has a ho hum game.
I too am glad that Deron proved everyone wrong, once again
What a great game tonight. Matthews doesn’t need to be named to the all-rookie team to show he’s what heck of a player. Matthews, Millsap, and Boozer were just wow.. incredible!
Denver fishing but were the ones going to the lake. GOOD JOB UTAH TIME TO SEND LA FISHING.
GO JAZZ!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went to game 6 and boy was it fun! It was my first playoff game ever and my first game this season!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a great game to go to. The only down side of tonight is that LA won and if the Jazz can’t get over the mental aspect they always have against LA then well….
Anyways the Jazz were awesome tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO JAZZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Second thirty point ten assist playoff road game ever in game two… And then the third in game five… Nice…
