Is it me or is Earl Watson really starting to produce?

I saw alot of Blogs early in the season writing Watson off, stating that we should have kept Gaines. I really think over this stretch of home games Watson has showed his worth, culminating with his game against the Bucks. He steers the team around really well and he has started to show why he started a majority of games for the Pacers last season. Any thoughts?

  1. Watson is playing very well now, after a very slow start. I will stand by Sundiata Gaines though. I think he could have developed into a nice player in our system some day. But, the Jazz elected to go the veteran route, to improve the teams chances in the short term. It’s obviously working out the way they had hoped. Gaines did catch on with the Wolves (not a great situation for him, but it beats the D-League). Time will tell if the Jazz did the right thing.

Watson over Gaines is looking better and better.

Yep, I have to eat some crow right now. I though keeping Watson over Gaines was a HUGE mistake. I was wrong, Watson is doing great. He’s killing it defensively and really finding his offensive game. I miss Sunny D, but Watson was the right choice.

Mavs have KIdd all time great PG and there backups PG are solid it will be a good test for the Jazz backups PG. After this we will see have much they have improve win or lose.(win of course)

As much as I like Gaines he will not be as goos as Watson. Watson, Elson, and Bell are making KOC look pretty good. Evans and Hayward will pan out also. When Okur comes back I look for one or both of them to head to the D-league which is no punishment but to give them plenty of playing time with some close to be NBA players.
