John Wall?

The author's views are entirely his or her own and may not reflect the views of the Utah Jazz.

I have been reading that John Wall is very unhappy at the Wizards, and realistically which superstar wouldnt be. The questions are obvious, do you think he would be a good fit for the Jazz and what would we need to give up to get him? He doesn’t seem to have a history of team problems that a player like DeMarcus Cousins consistently displays.

Should we go after him?

He would be exactly what this team needs. I just don’t see Washington giving him up. But if they did, the Jazz could put together a nice package.

  2. Guido says:

    Yes he could be.
Wizards is a weird team XD

  3. Dave801 says:

He’s just unhappy because they are losing… he would be unhappy here too.

The Wizards will get it together. Especially if they pick a name that you can take serious… maybe, The Bullets, just throwing that out there.

i think he would do great in utah. but i am afraid that he would be like most superstars in the nba. he won’t want to play for a small market team in salt lake city. i think he wants to go somewhere that is very popular but if we were to pull it off it would really help this team.

  5. Chad says:

We should because then we can do the John Wall

  6. Chase says:

Utah would have to give up WAY too much to get him. He’s the number one piece of there franchise. This is not happening my friends. Someone like D. Collison from Indiana would be more likely, maybe Kyle Lowlry (sp)? from Houston.

@Chase – What is too much? I think Harris and a big, possibly the massive exemption the Jazz have would be worthwhile. The guy is going to be a bonafide superstar if he has a has a half decent team around him

  8. John wouldn’t remain loyal to Utah unless they became immediate contenders. While we are dreaming we could work a trade for J Wall, J McGee and C Singleton for Harris, Big Al, CJ and a future pick

I can’t see trading away half the team to get a second-year kid to come in and learn a new system and quarterback a team full of young kids I don’t care how athletic he is. He’s not getting it done in Washington. I doubt he’d get it done here either.

There’s nothing wrong with Devon Harris. He’s a good veteran player and there’s really no one out there at the moment we can get our hands on that would make a drastic improvement. Devon did well on a good team at Dallas and not as good on a bad team the Nets. Only logical. The Jazz simply need time for the young guys to get better. We got a good core of young players. Making a bunch of trades for these other guys would just disrupt the teams progression.

    Patience people.

Again, we need a passing PG, not a selfish scoring PG with attitude who doesn’t make his teammates better. If we could land Kyle Lowry, this team would become much better.

kcjazzfan is right on. People are being too hard on Devin, the dude still has huge potential. He’s coming off some bad years with a crappy team (take a look at how D-Will is doing) He’s got some young teamates that are still learning to play together. I expect his assists to gradually rise throughout the season as he learns to get more guys involved from within the offense.

The Jazz should pick up Rubio. This system needs a pass-first guard, and Rubio is sure looking like he has amazing vision. Put our talent around him, and they would have a hay day.
