The author's views are entirely his or her own and may not reflect the views of the Utah Jazz.As much as alot of us are hopping to see the jazz make a move.. it keeps shrinking with articles coming out stating things like: alot of executives around the league thin that the jazz will keep jefferson for the rest of the season and look to trade millsap or stand by and let the year finish. there has been a few articles of late that are talking about things like this… the jazz are only looking to trade if it preserves the flexibility they have right now.

First, the niners lose, and now this?!
from what i got from this when i was reading the articles was the jazz are only trying to trade if they can get draft pick for them
The SLTrib guy said the Jazz head scout was at the Min-NO game. Probably just doing his job and making his rounds, but who knows?
I’m still holding out hope for a trade. NOBODY saw the Dwill trade coming so there is still a chance I think.
Bucks, Bulls, OKC, GSW. Those are 4 games against teams with losing records. @Kings is usually tough. Jazz are 4 games over .500 with 7 games til deadline. If Jazz are at about 500 at deadline, they probably wont be in top 8. If thats the case, and Jazz dont make a trade, I think Jazz fans need to demand that KOC step down.
I dont expect much from Jazz FO. I actually be surprised if they even trade Bell.
*w winning records
I was about to say Omar your idea of losing records is getting tougher.
All I can say though is hopefully Hayward is coming back soon, and if no trade is in the pipeline Mo too. I don’t see Burks as a PG material against good teams. Against teams with little confidence by all means put him in there. Against good teams he’s going to struggle, thats no slight on him its just not his natural position. I’m starting to worry about Tinsley. He’s not had much individual offensive threat, that was fine when he was assisting but lately I feel his assists have gone way down.
@ Steven it seams to me that Tinsley is uncomfortable to have the ball lately . I could be wrong but that is how it looks to me .
I think that the FO knows that something has to be done , but like I said there is only so much that they have power over . I suspect that they will pull a trade if they can by trade deadline otherwise they will have to wait the season out . That is my opinion .
Cap space is a sought after prize, with the new CBA, as is avoiding the punitive luxury tax kicking in.
Greg and the FO want to win and get to the playoffs, even if the Jazz are swept, but if loses start replacing wins, they will be more likely to make a move at the trade deadline or just before the draft.
They, like most teams, want draft picks and young talent in return. Hard to get in the current environment.
