I’m nervous about him. It sounds like he’s got awesome skills, but from what I’ve read he has some major anxiety issues. Apparently he’s afraid of flying, and has even driven to some of his college games. If he can get over that, I’d say definitely. If not, well…I’d be leery.

  2. French Dude says:

i talk about him some weeks ago, i like him, he can do everything on the court, big basket IQ, a real rarity with college players, he can be the missing piece on the 3 spot……his problems are not problems if he is put in good conditions and confidence, and a late first round is not a good risk to take……… unfortunately we don’t have this late first round pick, yet

french dude most of the teams later on in the draft are looking to move the pick they have. for a late first round i say he is worth the risk on it

  4. French Dude says:

@Eric, that’s why i finished my sentence with the word “yet”…………

    (subliminal messaging to KOC)

All depends on his interview. Looks like he has great talent, but I don’t want a basket case on our hands. You could compare him with Michael Beasley. He had great talent in college, but has also battled with a lot of mental issues. He’s a solid player in the league, but has yet to hit what many thought his potential would be. If we had a late first round pick and Royce was on the board, I’d take the gamble.

Best part of his game is defense. Great IQ and work ethic. His fear of flying can be controlled simply by a hipmotist or a simple sidation. If he drove to New York the game would be over by the time he got there.I would take him..

I am not against him, but 260 lbs scares me when your talking a SF. Will he be able to keep up with the quicker players in the league?

Moe Harkless, has the opposite porblem, but is younger and can put weight on. Lets compare them both.

    White Soph 6′8″ 260 lbs 13 ppg, 9 rebs, 5 ast, .9 blk, 1.2 st
    Harkless Fre 6′8″ 208 lbs 15 ppg, 8 reb, 1 ast, 1.4 blk, 1.6 st

White sounds like a heavier Hayward.

  8. Patrick not to mention that Harkless played out of position at the 4 position this last year. Ya you heard right he played the 4 at 210 pounds. He probably got hammered every game on the defensive end.

If Lebron can say how hard it is for him to play the 4 and he is huge I would imagina a guy that is 50 pounds lighter then him would have A LOT more taken out of him by playing that position. That could be why his 3 point shooting percentage was so low. Cause everything I have heard from his workouts and after the season he has been draining everything. Barely missing. He could be a real sleeper. Every one was surprised that he left but maybe he was sick of playing the 4 haha

I love his game! he is a basketball player through and through… the questions about him off court are scary, but from the sounds of it, he eased a lot of teams nerves at the combine interviews.
back to his game… he just makes good basketball plays, he is a playmaker, basically he’s what we all have wanted millsap to become, a big body ball handling small forward. If you were to draft him, it would make trading millsap much easier. i like him!
And i think utah would be a great enviroment for him to grow and thrive!

Steve, If your looking for a Sap replacement, then you may want to look into free Agency. Ersan Ilyasova, http://www.nba.com/playerfile/ersan_ilyasova/ affordable.

  11. I still like draymond green out of mich st he is a leader can do a bit of everything and, i think paul can show him the ropes in what it takes to be an undersized power forward. I mean i dragged the spartans deep into the madness touriment and, had some big wins in the regualr season as well. If you want talent and potential in a second rounder i would say go for green
