They. Could win 50 but not playing like they are. They have the players to do it but, they need to step it up on the road games. Also have a different starting line up. Maybe make a trade al or paul for a small forward. Marvin just isn’t cutting it maybe coming off the bench but not as a starter sorry bit its true.
I’m estimating they will win 42-47 games. 30 games at home is a lock. So all they would need to do is win 15 on the road to get a 45 win season. Very possible.
I am not one to ask for trades, but Marvin so far is a bit lacking (for a starter). I’d like to see more energy from him, the will to win.
I’d love to see the starting line-up mixed up a bit, and maybe use the combo Millsap/Favors/Jefferson from the start.
I have them at 45-50. @Arne, Marvin Williams is a very good defender. These last couple of road games he has had a big impact on the game. Marvin held Paul Pierce to 7 of 17 shooting. What happens off of the ball is just as important if not more than what happens on the ball. Plus he’s good at getting to the line.
Also, do you really want to compare Marvin Williams to CJ Miles?
At this rate, we’ll win 8 or 9 road games. Which means we’d have to win every game at home to get to 50 wins. We’re going to lose some at home. So we HAVE to win more games on the road if we want to be in the playoffs. Games like this, where you have played the whole game and stayed in the game and have the opportunity to win, you HAVE to win. This Boston loss and the Hornets loss are two games we’ll be looking back on, wondering why we couldn’t execute for just ONE more possession.

45 to 50 wins not going to happen, Corbin is the coach remember or did you all forget? the Jazz could very well have lost to Lakers with different coach dallas didn’t have dirk and toronto is injury plagued and they somehow are going to get to 45 wins? maybe injury ridden teams they beat if they stay healthy other then that 35 is high.
