Trade Everyone

Everyone is going crazy about who we need to trade. It’s only been two games! (granted we looked horrible) We may very well end up needing to trade some pieces but it is still too early to make that decision. The Jazz are far more talented than what they have shown thus far on the court. No one seems to know what they are doing on offense or defense. We need some players to step up and take leadership. I still think Harris and some of the guys will do that. Devin still doesn’t know how to run the offense but he will figure it out with a little more time. People forget how much time Deron had to figure out the offense and prepare before he even stepped in as the starting pg. Calling for trades after two games is crazy. We have one of the youngest teams in the league and we had basically no training camps or preseason for them to prepare.  2 games is nothing :)

  1. Jazz Man I would agree on most of this but Raja is horrible we need to trade him and get something. If we are going to take time to get comfortable in a shorten season start Burke. He is a better shooter than Bell and I think his defense would come around quicker than Bell’s offense.

Ya I definitely don’t think he’s a starter. If the Jazz personnel like his leadership for the young guys then I understand keeping him around a bit longer but I just don’t see him helping us as a starter. Really hoping to see Burks get some more rotation.

This should be the Jazz’s pre-game video! No more easy buckets and buck the f— up and play basketball!

I’ve seen Devin Harris play long enough to know that we need a new PG. I’ve seen Bell’s inefficiency on both ends long enough to know that he does not help us at all. I’ve seen Al’s complete inability to defend and his same predictable move every single possession enough to know why Minnesota gave him to us for basically nothing.

I propose that we made a trade to bring in Kyle Lowry. He’s an ultra-talented, yet underrated PG who can shoot, drive, pass, and rebound well. Find a way to not play Bell much, which would be playing Burks and maybe even Harris more at SG (provided we still had Harris after the trade).

  5. I think that these are the most astute comments to date on the subject. This team needs TIME….and a little more luck with next years draft picks. That will take care of some of the older players. Right now we can use them to help bring along our younger players.

@Robert: Your statement is quite provocative..
