Meet
Elementary, my dear Watson

The author's views are entirely his or her own and may not reflect the views of the Utah Jazz.Watson was the man tonight. Led the bench players to a great win over the Lakers. That was the difference tonight, the bench. Starters did all they could against Bryant-Bynum-Gasol but the energy of the bench outplayed the Laker bench big time! As we know, great team defense leads to easy offensive baskets. Overall, great team effort!
Now, on to the road portion of the schedule. Maintain that energy, that attitude, that team play and the Jazz should hold their own against any team.

I’ve been thinking about buying another jersey…I’ve already got a Millsap one. Now it’s a toss-up between Jefferson and Watson. Decisions, decisions…those things aren’t cheap!
Bravo to Earl Watson. I sprained my ankle a couple of months ago, and it took me almost two full months to fully recover. In fact, there’s still some nagging pain. Earl Watson is simply a BEAST for what he did tonight. Granted, he had cutting-edge medical technology, but still, he’s only a human.
…or is he?
For the record… it’s a common misconception that Sherlock Holmes ever once says, “Elementary, my dear Watson” in any of the works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. He does say, “my dear Watson,” frequently, as well as his references to “elementary,” but never once in the same sentence.
And there’s the worthless bit of trivia of the day.
Go Jazz
Watson is amazing … I just pulled up his career stats out of curiosity … He has played all over the league, his best season was 07-08 with Seattle … he started 73 games that year, and averaged 10.7 ppg, 6.8 apg, 3 rpg, and .9 steals in 29 mpg …he also shot 37% from 3!
I would love to see Earl taking more minutes, and/or starting. The way he is playing this year, with 29 mpg I think he could put up at least 11/7 again … maybe more like 7 and 11.

Here’s more on that phrase…

Love the Bulldog! If it’s true this team still doesn’t have a captain than I say it should be Watson! Not that my opinion matters, but still, he does HUGE things for this team.
A lot of teams have two captians. Sap and Watson get my vote. And Watson works so good with these kids leave him on the second squad as their leader..
@Ray, Amen brother. Watson is definitely the man.
@Taco, um, I’m calling you for answers when we’re stumped during bar trivia.
