  NBA 2K11 is fun once you figure it out. Once you know what each player is capable of and how to utilize their skills, you can be really good. It’s kind of like a fighting game. You play with one character a lot until you find if it’s right for you or not. Also the my player mode was a great improvement, even if I think they penalize you too hard and too much for little things like bad shot selection.

  My favorite all the basketball game though would probably be the NBA Street games though. I just liked their game play and style.

  yah elite is retarded.the control scheme is ridiculous. It makes for a more challenging game but loses all the fun factor. Using your control sticks for 80% of the controlls including shots, steals, rebounding, ect. It’s confusing and annoying. Although I was a little displeased with 2k11 not as all around good as 2k10.. but that was just the demo. Still looking forward to 2k11.

  What pisses me off is that Deron Williams looks like crap in 2K10. Why can’t people just realize that he is the best PG in the league and spend as much time on him as they did perfecting LeBron’s tattoos?! haha

  Try out the “The Association” mode on NBA 2K10. It’s a blast. And yes, the new NBA Elite 11 game looks much better, but there’s no way EA would release it on the Wii. I guess I’ll just have to get a 360. haha

  I used to love the old EA NBA games, even going back to the Genesis “Lakers vs Celtics”………actually just bought a used NBA Live 10 PS3 game on eBay. I’m looking forward to receiving it.

  I love NBA2k10. I haven’t fully got into full seasons or management stuff. I just kinda play one on one with friends and online. But I really want to do some of that other stuff soon. Hear it’s a blast.

  since free agency started i’ve won 2 championships on nba live 10 for ps3 with the jazz (: Deron Williams PG Gerald Wallace SG Michaels Beasley SF Boozer (so sad he’s gone) PF Roy Hibbert C. first year 63-19, second 66-16. (: now my third year im 12-0 so far.

  Personally, I would much rather get out and play a game of basketball before I sat down on my couch and pretended to play one. But it happens, the weather is bad, it’s too dark outside, whatever. But when I do play a basketball video game, I really enjoy the fact that you can sometimes own your own team and have to manage your own finances. It can be surprisingly educational! I only have a Wii and the old NBA Live games were way to arcade-ish for my style. The 2K Sports versions are much more simulator-style and are very fun to play. The Jazz aren’t ever the top rated team in the game, but I occasionally manage to be able to dominate the league. If the Jazz can’t win championships in real life, (at least not yet), why not win virtual rings while we’re waiting?!
