Anyone who doesnt want to sign AK is not a jazz fan. He has done so much for this team and when he does play he changes the game for us. The reason he is hurt all the time is because he plays hard and puts his body in crazy positions. If you want to hate on people for being injured to much look at Devin Harris he could have played through his injury, he chose not to play. Also the jazz cant trade him because he is a free agent. No one wants Memo because he went through one of the hardest injurys to come back to. I would enjoy seeing CJ go though because he don’t play a lick of defense, he turns the ball over to much, he doesn’t ever drive, and he is not a consistant shooter. Fez is a big guy down low and he fouls alot but he does know how to use his body to get the ball. He is a 10th man at best but he is still valuable to this team.

Get rid of all four of them. Hayward and Evans have showed how good they can be with playing time. Favors will only get better and better with time. With two top fifteen picks. Get a PG/SG then a good backup center/pf. By all star break we will be a top six team in the west easy. It’s time for the new young era to take over. Get rid of all these hurt/inconsistent players.

I say ak, memo, elson, price need to go! Possibly raja if he dont get his sh#t together!
PG- Harris, Watson, ???, Draft Pick
SG- Hayward, Bell, Miles
SF- Milsap, Hayward, Evans, Miles
PF- Favors, Milsap, Evans
C- Jefferson, ???, Favors, Draft Pick
Lets go Jazz!!! We’ll be back in the mix next year! but like max says if were gona re-build lets do the damn thang! -
I agree with you on a lot of those points. With Jefferson, Favors, Millsap, Hayward, and Evans rotating the 3-5 positions, it seems like Utah could afford to lost some players and make some kind of a play for a good back up center and a good shooting guard. I think Hayward can fill that shooting guard roll well, but there still needs to be a good shooting guard who can come off the bench (or start if Hayward would come off the bench). Memo, Fez, AK, CJ, and Elson could all be on the chopping block as far as I’m concerned. Losing/trading any or all of those guys with the prospect of using their two future 1st-round picks + cash would hopefully be enough to land a qualified big guy and a solid shooting guard. Here’s to a productive summer, and a 2011/12 season that starts on time.
PS – If KOC could bring Ante Tomic and a good shooting guard onto the team, that seems like it would be the optimal decision.

AK47
What does the AK stand for? Always Krippled?
It’s been long enough. I’m tired of holding on to hope that this guy’s ever going to be a shadow of his former self. I don’t care if he wants to be here. If we’re rebuilding then lets commit to the process and give his minutes to a younger guy. Blocked Shots have slowly given way to Airballed jumpshots over the years and awkward flailing, fumbling adventures toward the basket(almost always accompanied by an odd whelping noise). I have a soft spot for him because he made the post stockton/malone years much more enjoyable pre-deron williams. but still, bye.
Fez
I also have a soft spot for funny guys. But…
I don’t think he has the lunch pail mentality that its gonna take..
It’s a waste of a massive body w/fairly good athleticism for his size.CJ Miles
The Curious Case of CJ Miles
Look up “inconsistent” in the dictionary and there’s CJ.
He has 4 options. Hit the three. Miss the three. fake a three & go to the hole and get his weak sauce finger roll blocked into a different dimension. Did I say 4 options? I meant 3.Memo
I don’t have a soft spot for memo. because he himself IS a soft spot. I’ve long forgotten all those GW 3’s he drained during the Fisher Era. His comical at best defensive efforts provided the amnesia. Plus, even if he ever does get healthy for an extended amount of time(i highly doubt it) I still think he needs a PG of D-Will’s caliber to set him up offensively.I have no choice but to trust KOC but I thought there were a lot of personnel moves that could have been made besides the ones that we did make.
