Gonna be “in state” on Sunday to see Jazz vs Hornets & Mavs next week. Really lookin’ forward to it and hoping to see the team improve a little after the recent events. Saw the Nets and Raptors in London and see why the Jazz miss D Will even with his injury. But hey, look to the future and hope to see the dawn of a new era.

I’m a lifetime resident of California, central California to be more specific. And trust me, I HATE the Lakers. Go Jazz.

I am perhaps the most distant Jazz fan outside of the greater Salt Lake area. I live in the Kingdom of Tonga way down in the middle of the South Pacific. I am the first to see the new day, because the International Dateline runs right down the eastside of my island…lol.

I have been a Jazz fan since the 70s when I was but 12 years old. I haven’t been in touch with my Jazz for about two years due to the fact that I haven’t had the means to be in possion of the right technology/ies to enable me to follow one of my lifes passions, “the Jazz.” Recently, I have discovered the Twitter World, from it, I have hooked my mobile phone to receive all the latest tweetes that goes out from the UtahJazz’s Official Website. So, I am happy to now get all the latest outcomes of the games, pre-game interviews and comments, post-game recaps and interviews. Needless to say, my world is a much happier world now that I am able to follow the Jazz from sooooo far away.

I play a host of sports, of which I am good at, so naturally I follow a few other teams in the forms of other sports. Recently my SFGiants won the World Series, and that was great following it through the tweet world. My 49ers are starting to show signs of life, so that is good. Please don’t get the impressions that I have no life….lol. I do, but it is great to live in paradise (Tonga) and still come to realize that paradise can be made even more beautiful, and more relaxing, and more enhanced by having all my favorite teams to follow right there at my disposal….lol.

Being a Jazz fan means the most to me since we haven’t had a championship title while the team have moved to Utah. When the Jazz wins the big one. It will be more sweet to savor since it has been so long. I hope that they do it while I am still alive to enjoy it. Those of you who’ve never heard of my beautiful Island, look in the South Pacific around Fiji, and Samoa. I live in a dot of a place, but it is the most beautiful island in the world.

Go Jazz Go. Go all the way this year.

Not out of state but overseas, I’m a huge Jazz fan here in the Philippines. Been a fan for 2 decades now. Since we don’t have cable TV then and NBA games being shown sporadically on tv here in the Philippines. I just enjoy myself reading Jazz games on the newspaper and renting videos of NBA games. I pride myself of owning a Hornacek and Ostertag jersey(yup i know) which i bought for a hefty price. and also mcfarlane toys(Kirilenko and Boozer)which now adorn my room. Been scouring the Philippines for a DWill jersey but no luck. Philippines by the way is a Laker country.

My first NBA game was an exhibition match between the New Orleans Jazz (with Pete Maravich) and the Buffalo Braves, at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto in 1976. Maravich electrified the crowd, got me into NBA basketball, but I didn’t become a hard core Jazz fan until the late 80’s.
There aren’t a lot of people cheering for the Jazz in the Toronto area – but on the other hand, at least we have something to cheer about, unlike the Raptors.

Been a Jazz fan since Stockton & Malone days when they ran the Bulls so close. I am from UK and have only watched NBA on TV. Coming to SLC next March to see the Jazz live!!!! Anyone there tell me where to find the good beer?!!

I was born in S.L.C. in 1980 and lived there for twelve years before moving out of state. Several stops later, I now live in Seattle. I love wearing my Jazz jerseys in enemy territory. I was mad when the Sonics left Seattle for different reasons than most. Now I drive to Portland to watch the Jazz live. Internet radio and NBA League Pass luckily have been able to supply me my Jazz fix over the years.

I am very excited for this season to start. I can’t wait for the Jazz to prove all the doubters wrong, again.

    GO JAZZ!!!

I am a Jazz fan since 1995. I’m from the Philippines but moved in southern California now. I used to like the showtime Lakers coz of Kareem. As a fan of the game, I am really impressed of how the Jazz system works. That’s why I shifted teams. Coach Sloan is my guy in Utah, as long as he’s the coach I expect them to be in the playoffs. I know someday they will own a much deserved Championship ring for us die hard fans. Go Jazz! My all time 1st five for the Jazz are Stock, Horny, AK, Karl, Eaton..
