Watching that Miami game, there were at least two times a guard drove down the lane and Al Jefferson didn’t even move over to contest. As a big man, you contest that shot. Your goal should be to NOT allow anyone to score in your house. Put them on the floor if that’s what it takes, but do NOT let them get a layup over you. That’s pathetic defense right there and you cannot win a championship being so tentative.
I thought the Jazz were known for their physical play and toughness. Definitely haven’t been seeing it lately.
