Trading for specific needs

David Locke is pretty optimistic about Bledsoe’s defensive abilities but questions whether or not he is a PG or SG. I personally haven’t ever seen him play alongside CP3. I love Millsap but would love a young talented PG sooner than later.

He also really likes Andrea Bargnani as a stretch 4 to draw defenders away from Favors and Kanter. He would provide a 3 Big rotation if we traded for Al.

These trades resolve 2 specific needs, but we woul have to take on another player to make the money work.

Would you basically trade away Millsap and Jefferson for Bledsoe and Bargnani?

  1. David Locke loving Andrea Bargnani is all you need to know about David Locke. Bargnani is a stretch 4 who can’t shoot. His career average is 36%. That’s bad.

  2. If we were going to get Bargnani, we should of done it already with Calderon to make the money work! Im sick of the specifics of positions! Bledsoe can play the point pretty damn good and would be a huge upgrade over the crap we got at pg! We’ll besides Burks, “who isnt a pg” but is 1000 better than Watson/Tinsley. But they are still getting mins/starting because they are “true pg’s” in Corbins mind. Stupid!!!! What position does LeBron James play? Who cares he’s really good! Also Locke is a yes Man!

  3. Ryan Anderson is known as a good outside shooter and his career average is 38%.

Foye and Bargnani could force defenders out toward the perimeter similar to Memo to free things up for Favors, Kanter and Evans underneath. Plus he’s a true 7 footer. His 15 PPG, 5 REB in addition to what Bledsoe brings could easily replace AL’s production while allowing other players to be involved

Anderson is 39% in his career and 40% this year. I know that’s just barely better than what you quoted kory but it’s a heck of a lot better than 36%. Anderson has become a better shooter lately. That’s why his career average is so low. But to answer the question of this post. I would never trade al and Paul for Bledsoe and bargnani. I feel mo will be a great pg when he comes back. He was playing well before he got hurt.

So basically you’re wondering if we should trade Al Jefferson for CJ Miles 2.0? Nah…..i’ll pass. But I would very seriously consider the Millsap for Bledsoe deal. And just remember, Locke is a freaking tool. He has more access to things than we do, but a lot of fans could do better than he does with the same access level.

I do it if Raptors had a first round pick to swap with us! Jazz would have about the 8th pick.—OKC’s pick now.
