A closer look at our more recent toxic wastes
Posted by: Henri on November 21st, 2012
The author's views are entirely his or her own and may not reflect the views of the Utah Jazz.I am speaking about our toxic guys from the 2011-2012 season :
- For his first game with the Wolves, Josh Howard had a 14 min of PT during which he shot 10 times for just 6 points against the loosy GS defense. Not to mention zero assists of course. Remind you something from last year ?
But the most pathetic is … CJ Miles.
In 7 games and 15.4 MPG, CJ lays at 12/55 shooting (21.8%), including a great 22.2% 3pt shooting. That’s 4.3 PPG. CJ has constantly dropped 2% in shooting since the 2007-2008 season, but has lost 16 % since his last season in Utah. I think he is clearly heading is way out of the NBA, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him arriving in Europe soon.
You know what ? I am really glad not to have these guys in the Jazz roster right now.

CJ is a really nice guy but he’s a terrible ball player.
Just Jazz coaches didnt see that… (and I dont know why)
@Kevin. Good guys suck at basketball… cientific issue
@Guido
Thanks for the echo
And CJ was given 7 years of solid playing time, and even starter minute before Jazz figured out he did NOT have it. I think Burks deserves more than DNPs if CJ deserved 7 years of solid opportunity….FN CJ MILES even got a chance to develop….wtf.
Consistent or not CJ at least had athleticism to keep up with other talent. Not to defend his rediculous decision making, but more or less Sloan used him for reasons. Do you think he would be benching Burkes right now? I gaurantee Kanter would be splitting minutes with Al evenly. Kanter would come out if he took bad shots or didnt run a play right. Al would come out for sloppy defense and no hustle.
