Thoughts on Dwight for Jefferson and Milsap?

I know there are all sorts of reasons why not such as…
1. Would dwight resign with us?
2. Is he mature enough to even be a team player considering all his drama?
3. Is he overrated? He can’t hit an outside jumper which make pick and roll one dimensional..
4. Bringing on dwight would bury or limit Kanter.
And a bunch of other reasons. But, lets think about this… What kind of player would we be looking to get if we did trade Jefferson or Milsap individually or together? What players could we get that would make us better? No team is going to part with a super star for 2 borderline all-stars unless they were just trying to get the best deal they could cause their superstar is making things out to be like carmelo and dwight.
Let look at a lineup with both Favors and Dwight on the court together. that by itself really makes us a defensive team in the paint. Our rebounding gets drastically improved at both positions with 10+ rebounds in favors a game and a history of Dwight getting 13-14. Currently milsap and Al are combined average of about 17 rebounds per game. We could possibly see rebounds go up to 23-24 rebounds per game from those 2 positions combined. Scoring would be something we could see go up as well at both positions, although Howard is a downgrade for post move’s in my opinion, in fact it would be the same with Favors not being as well rounded as Milsap, but I think we all see that Favors upside and growth will change that, maybe even this season.
Obviously Howard wants to get to a big market, but with his help this year we could go deep in the playoff’s and easily give us what we need in luring/bringing an elite PG our way in the future… What would it take to get Tony Parker?
Being that we had an issue with Milsap playing the 3 very well (he did pretty good but not his position) Marvin helps us become a very big team. I would really push to get AK back with us as well to firm up the SF position. wE ALSO HAVE hAYWARD AND cAROL THAT CAN BE THERE FOR WHEN ak IS INJURED 
… We then have Carol, Hayward and burks to play the 2 position. And with Burks training to play the PG position we could see a future Westbrook conversion in some way out of him. Obviously we could use an amazing PG to really fill things up like a Rondo.
I kind of got away from the post subject which is Jefferson and Milsap for Dwight?

Even if he does, he won’t resign next year.
Plus I don’t see AK back now, Russian sources say he’s more likely to stay in Europe for another year…

Sure Howard would sign here! Especially if Nicks mom tries out to be a Nu Skin Jazz dancer.. It would give Dwight Howard extra incentive to play here! She is sucha great dancer… mmmmmm so exotic! Me and Howard can pull some trains!
Disco, I think Nick’s calling him an idiot because of the frightening lack of attention to detail and literacy shown throughout the post in addition to the harebrained idea of bringing Dwight Howard to Utah. I’m sure Nick also is not in favor of Kirilenko coming back as a member of the Jazz.
Anyway, let’s call a spade a spade, there are plenty of reasons to think Jake is an idiot.

lol, you are all so funny to sit and worry about grammer on a post as if we care… Other part of this is 99% of the garbage you’ve all talked about that either is stupid enough to bring up as if it actually improves our team any better other than being a 1st or 2nd round threat at best means anything.
You are all on here to try and make yourselves seem smart as if people actually respect you for your opinions. If you don’t like the idea then don’t respond… the post was about thoughts. Obviously the chances of Dwight resigning in a small market is next to nothing, but who strange things happen all the time. I’m not even going to start listing them, but maybe I should to prove there would be many situations that would suggest that strange things happen.
There is logic in it. Dwight would still be in Orlando if they could have won a championship. Anyway this was just an up in the air kicks and giggles type scenario as we all know Dwight wants to control where he goes, but look at new Jersey making a huge gamble on Williams and thinking they could get him to stay ehich they did even after a horrible season. He wants to win, these guys egos are abot winning. Look at Kobe back 4 years ago when he said he would play on any team that would win regardless of where it was.

The Professional… Basically you don’t think it would ever happen, guess what I don’t either. Again 99% of the crap that you all have talked about or suggested doesn’t happen so why jump in saying people are morons when its not your idea but defend any silly idea you come up with, doesn’t make sense.

I guess the question would be to all of you what your bright and super smart ideas are when it comes to Jefferson and Millsap?
Lets hear your thoughts instead of your attacks of how other people are stupid, becuase we all know Dwight and AK make this team better. The statistics prove it in every way, so its really not that stupid, I pipe dream or bad move cause he won’t resign… maybe but not stupid to try and improve the team.

@Jake – An ego the size of Howard’s cant survive in Orlando, which is a bigger market than SLC. Im not even sure his ego could survive in NYC but that is about the only city that could potentially handle him. I also think he is a douche with the way he acted with the Magic and wouldnt want him around the Jazz young players where he can teach them to act like that. In the past year he has made Lebron look like a prince among men. Ak, I was not a fan of in his last few years, always injured, looking disinterested for parts of the game and getting paid way too much to do it. As for what to do with Jefferson and Millsap, Jefferson will be hard to trade due to his pricetag and his glaring weaknesses, (despite his many positives.) I guess he needs to be traded to one of the teams who feel they need to win now, rather than rebuild. I have no idea who that will be or what we get for him. As far as Millsap is concerned it depends on his attitude about his spot in the rotation. We could get some good young players for them if we trade to a team who wants to try and compete with the nets and Miami right now
I do not like this idea because dwight howard is dumb. do you really want him pulling the crap he is pulling in orlando to be brought here to utah. You want that type of drama? he is not a utah jazz type player. this idea is not cool, funny, or even fun to consider.

And now back to the subject. Howard has already stated Nets or Lakers. But like Cry-Mellow he would be poison.He may work out fine for another team.But I really don’t think the Jazz have put their bid in for him.
@LK – I dont even know if Dwight said Lakers. I think the Lakers assume everyone wants to play there
I do agree with you all on dwight being a bad example. I just think the whole orlando organization was poorly ran. I think it let him get a really big head, I don’t think the Jazz put up with that crap like d-will. But yes I do think he could be a terrible example, I don’t like his drama, I do like his stats, thats the only reason. I know its not going to happen but it would be interesting to see 2 defensive specialists and very similar in many ways. It would be way fun to watch them do serious damage together. It looks like a complicated 3 team trade is on the edge of happening anyway so no worries.
@ Mason… People sharing their ideas is one thing and I like anyones thoughts on how they see it or even argue their point of vie, I hate the know it alls that come in and start talking about how stupid people are and it has nothing to do with basketbell. People are here to enjoy themselves not be attacked by jerks that want to feel smart by telling others they’re stupid. Big pants have nothing to do with it, its trying to create a level of integrity on the board so it doesn’t ruin the site.
