Meet
10 Favorite Players in Draft
Posted by: Jason Michael Crannell on June 20th, 2012
The author's views are entirely his or her own and may not reflect the views of the Utah Jazz. With the Jazz currently sitting without a first round pick, I find my interest in this particular draft at an all time low. However, I’ve made a list of the 10 players in this draft I like the most.
1. Anthony Davis
2. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist
3. Thomas Robinson
4. Bradley Beal
5. Harrison Barnes
6. Andre Drummond
7. Dion Waiters
8. John Henson
9. Jeremy Lamb
10. (tie) Damian Lillard, and Kendall Marshall
I’d love to see the Jazz make a deal to get back into the lottery, and grab any of the players I listed above. I think any of them would add nicely to our youth movement. However, it’s more likely, the Jazz will trade into the middle or later stages of the first round. A couple guys I like in that range, include John Jenkins, and Tony Wroten.
I’m eager to hear what players the rest of you are high on in this draft, and who you think would be a good fit for the Jazz. Feel free to make your own top ten.

3. Lillard
4. Henson
5. Leonard
6. Harkless
7. Moultrie
8. Wrotten
9. Jenkins
10. Darius Miller
* Hollis Thompson
If jazz could come away with 4 of those 11, I would be ecstatic.
To turn your question the other way, who is on your top 10 LEAST favorite players in the draft??
Off the top of my head, I would not want the following drafted by the Jazz:
- J. Sullinger (health issues, mobility issues)
- A. Rivers (has to dominate the ball to be effective, and he just comes across as a super arrogant kid to me)
- K. Marshall (he is a great passer, but I want a PG that is more of a shooting threat too. This could be developed, but right now, I wouldn’t like to see him in a Jazz uni)
- T. Robinson (just don’t need him. If Jazz had a draft pick high enough to pick him, they should focus on one of the other talented players that could actually fill a need)
