The author's views are entirely his or her own and may not reflect the views of the Utah Jazz.A perfect storm. Playing a back to back, on the road, after a very hard fought game, against a well rested opponent, with a depleted lineup.
After Paul and Griffin both scored over 30 points last night, Monta Elllis poured in 33 tonight, and Stephen Curry finished with 29 points, and 12 assists. David Lee added 23 points, and 14 rebounds.
The Warriors had 22 offensive rebounds, and killed the Jazz with second chance points.
With Devin Harris, and Earl Watson out with injuries, Jamaal Tinsley stepped in, and had a nice night, scoring 9 points, and dishing out a Jazz season high 13 assists.
Gordon Hayward scored 21, but like Tinsley, struggled defensively against the back court of the Warriors.
Al Jefferson and Josh Howard both contributed 19 points.
Paul Millsap’s struggles continued, but he still finished with 15 points, and 11 rebounds. You know a guy is pretty good, when he has back to back double doubles, and still doesn’t play that well. That says a great deal about the competitor that Paul is, and the high level he holds himself too.
The Jazz bench didn’t play very well, and finished with only 18 points.
The Warrrior scored 40 points in the third quarter alone.
Jazz Player of the Game: Jamaal Tinsley

On a side note, the Clippers lost tonight also. They got blown out by the Nuggets. I think both teams were spent after last nights war at the ESA.
Tinsley’s great play puts more pressure on Devin Harris to play well. But like you said he struggled defensively.
I’d still prefer to see Gordon at the 2 rather than the 3.
Bell and Watson are both bulldogs defensively, and both were badly missed against Golden State’s guards.
Tinsley also had 6 boards, as many as Jefferson. He played well, I’m curious to see if he could play like that consistently
You forgot to mention that CJ had his usual game. Evans and Tinsley have never had that many minutes. They should each get at least five minutes a game. This would keep them more in tune with game experience. As I have said before a fourteenth roster player would have helped.
