Two free agents mentioned…

The author's views are entirely his or her own and may not reflect the views of the Utah Jazz.

Brian T. Smith (Jazz writer) said on Twitter two names were tossed around as possible signings. Danny Green and Roger Mason. I really like the idea of signing Danny Green, but I say no way to Roger Mason, I’d rather see Burka, Carroll, etc. But yes Danny Green could come in and possibly be our starting 2, good 3 point shooter with solid defense. I do want to repeat though, DO NOT SIGN ROGER MASON. What do you all think?

    I’ll cosign that @JC2.

Here are some undrafted FAs, Ive been on the Hollis Thompson bandwagon for a long time, would love him to at least have a spot on SL squad.

Micheal Beasley is a FA, for the right price he cab be that explosive SF that can score.

  2. Brandon Rush anyone?
He isn’t a free agent, but this is the last year of his contract. The Jazz could trade Miles or Bell for him.
He could help the jazz’s 3 point shooting

  3. Omar says:

Beasley, when playing over 30 minutes, averaged 45% FG, 37% from three, 19.2 points and 5 rebounds as a starter. Mid level might be reasonable.

  4. Omar says:

    And hes 6′10 SF.

  5. Shane says:

I agree, big yes to Green and no way to Mason.

  6. Jake says:

Yes to Danny Green no to Roger Mason

  7. Steve says:

I would love to get Branson rush. He’s a defensive guy with a good 3 point shot. He scores off other people which is a big plus with Utah’s system

  8. Omar says:

How about Marvin Williams for Harris???
Marvin is a 6′9 SF and shot 50% from 3 in the playoffs against Boston (a great defense), regular season 39% from 3.

@andrew – rush is a restricted FA. I read that GS gave him the 4.1 qualifying offer so we just need the Jazz to up their offer
