Billy Goat Gets Put Out to Pasture…FINALLY!!!

Posted by: Jazzaholic on February 16th, 2013

The author's views are entirely his or her own and may not reflect the views of the Utah Jazz.

The gullible NBA players finally got some backbone and put Bill Goat Hunter out of his (their) misery.

Billy Goat has been the ultimate example of nepotism and under the counter deals, bordering on criminality. Getting overpaid and again overpaid for “vacation time”, he sucked up every available penny from the union coffers.

The millionaires paying his salary are young, gullible and lack interest in their own union. With no over site, Billy Goat thoroughly abused the system. He made Carlo Pietro Giovanni Guglielmo Tebaldo Ponzi (“Charles” Ponzi of the infamous “Ponzi Scheme”) look like a second rate huckster.

The big question is “what took so long?”

In true Billy Goat fashion, he will file a suit to recover his illegal contract, plus damages.

The NBPA needs to find a leader, not to confront the NBA, but to work with the NBA, to grow the revenues and make more money for the players and owners. The millionaires and billionaires need to work together for more productive and competitive league. The new CBA appears to be working toward making more teams competitive and stopping teams from buying championships.

“Derek Fisher will continue to serve as the NBPA’s president. Matt Bonner was elected vice president and James Jones was elected secretary/treasurer. Stackhouse, Roger Mason, Jr., Chris Paul, Andre Iguodala, Stephen Curry and Willie Green will round out the NBPA’s executive committee.”

  1. Judas Fisher is also up to his usual two faced, back stabbing, snake in the grass, vile trickery.

    Via hoopsrumors.com:

“…Former players union executive vice president, Maurice Evans, who has not played in the NBA this season, also contends the only reason Derek Fisher signed with the Mavs is so he could remain union president and engineer Hunter’s exit.”

Sounds EXACTLY like Fisher. And it also makes sense how and why he screwed over the Mavs. He seriouslly is an evil little piece of sh*t.

    Still, Hunter is a criminal.

  3. usually those are the type of people that end up climbing the political ladder to the top… I don’t think the illegal practices like nepotism would have ever become an issue if the players union hadn’t lost so miserably in CBA negotiations after dragging them on forever.
