Meet
Kyle Lowry, not a Jazz man

The author's views are entirely his or her own and may not reflect the views of the Utah Jazz.Rockets rising star point guard Kyle Lowry has been charged with battery …against a woman! To make it worse, she was a referee at a charity basketball game in Las Vegas in September. She alleges that Lowry threw the ball at her, striking her in the abdomen, called her a b**** and threatened to “kick her a**” outside the arena. This whole scene transpired after the game had ended, when referee Infiri Robinson was changing her clothes and shoes. …here is a link to the story:

Lowry is facing battery charges that could carry a penalty of up to six months jail time and a $1,000 fine. Of course, nothing will actually happen to Lowry because he is rich enough to avoid legal issues.
We should all be happy that the Jazz organization values high character and personal responsibility and demands it from it’s players. Over the years the Jazz have employed very few low character players, and when they have made those mistakes, they get rid of them quickly.
People don’t just go through life being high character people and then one day hit a woman…probably a volunteer for charity. I hope the NBA gets involved and comes down hard on Lowry and makes an example of this. Hopefully kids who look up to Lowry don’t start assaulting women, look up to someone like Ronnie Price instead.

That’s a downer. The charges haven’t been proved yet, but it looks like the story is real. If he did do all that, no we wouldn’t want him on the team. I’ve been saying that Lowry is the PG we need because of his excellent rebounding, passing, and shooting. He’s an all-around talented PG and becoming one of the league’s best. He didn’t strike me as that kind of person.
Damm ppl sure yall haven’t done worse.. that seems a lil over hyped.. he probably tossed it not how they are reporting it smdh.. he is still my second favorite guard after yall know who.. that man d will
…not proven in court, but it seems likely, especially with the part about Cory Magette apologizing for Lowry …
My point was that, I appreciate as a Jazz fan that our team doesn’t deal with low character players. No matter how it really happened, I can’t imagine Tim Duncan, Grant Hill, or anyone on the Jazz being accused of it. …Just like I won’t ever be implicated in a shoplifting ring …it just won’t ever happen.
