They look good so far this year, which is obviously a bummer to Jazz fans … However, the next month is absolutely brutal for the Warriors, and could be a nice gift for all of us. They just lost last night to the Lakers, which feels wierd for me to be happy about, the loss puts them at 18-10. Right now they are in 5th place in the western conference, and there are six teams behind within four games, Denver, Minnesota, Utah, Portland, Houston and LA …and all but the Lakers are at least 6-4 in their last 10 games.
Golden State has 14 games in the next month, beginning with a game in SLC tomorrow. Their other games include the Thunder, Spurs, Heat and Grizzlies, and the Clippers three times, throw in the Bulls and Nuggets on the road… thats 10 out of 14, they also play the Blazers, Celtics, Sixers and Hornets …
The Jazz on the other hand have a pretty smooth month coming up, also 14 games, only 5 playoff teams from last season, the Clippers twice. The Suns, Bobcats, Wizards, Cavs, and Pistons. The next month is important, for the Jazz and the Warriors… By January 25, the Jazz could easily be in the top five and the Warriors could be in the top 10, of the lottery.
