LoL.. Gordon Hayward is not going to start over CJ Miles, in my opinion.

  2. Adam says:

There have been about 20 different blogs started about the starting lineup. Why do you have to start another one? Go chime on one of the other blogs and don’t be redundant.

  3. kevin says:

A lot of people are going to disagree with you that you put Hayward but I actually think you have something. If you look at the past, Sloan has always been willing to start a young player and let him play for a few minutes and then bring in a vet for the rest of the minutes. He did this with CJ a few years ago. This would allow both AK and either Bell or CJ to come of the bench, gining them a more proven bench.

  4. dominic says:

well sorry adam this is my fist time on this so be quite

  5. Tyler says:

i think hayward will come in for raja. i think cj starts sf and ak gets the job when we are almost halfway in the season

  6. champ says:

We’ve been through this already Dominic, Adam was nice…there are more than 20 blogs about the line up. Look ‘em up before you start new ones. Maybe you should start slow and comment first.

  7. Zach says:

We can’t just start a rookie like that. Hayward’s not physically or mentally ready to start and AK is much more talented and has earned a starting spot. Besides, if AK starts with Bell, we have a nice starting defense. I’d like to see Al in his natural spot at PF once Memo’s healthy with Millsap still coming off the bench because I think Memo will have more offensive success in the new rotation.

  8. James Seaman says:

Welcome to the site, Dominic. I don’t think Hayward will start, at least not at the beginning of the season. He’s different than Matthews who played four years of college ball in the Big East and had an NBA-ready body. Ultimately, Hayward has the potential to be better than Matthews, but it’s gonna take some time. Meanwhile, I think the questions come down to this: Between Bell, Miles, and AK, who do you start at the 2 and the 3? Do you start Millsap or AK at the 4? It’ll be interesting to see what they do.

  9. Drew says:

everythings good except that CJ or AK will be our Small Forward and CJ or Bell will be our Shooting guard…

  10. Adam says:

Well, welcome aboard UtahJazz360, Dominic. Note that there are some people who aren’t afraid to speak their minds on these blogs. I’m not the only one either. No, newcomers don’t get tampered. Like so, I don’t how to be quite. You have to add another word for that to make sense. Now, I could be quiet, which is what you may mean, but I’m not going to. Instead, I will be loud and noisy and give some honest advice. When it’s your first time on, don’t jump out and start a thread. At least look through and determine what has been talked about. It’s even better if you spend a while commenting before creating blogs. Note that that advice is the same advice champ gave. Repetition is a good teacher. The subject of the starting lineup has been dragged out like a dead horse and most people are done talking about it. Jerry Sloan will start whomever he feels like starting and I can promise you that Hayward won’t be in that lineup.

  11. champ says:

Haha! You read my mind Adam. I almost made him that same promise about Hayward not starting, but hope someone else would or he’ll figure it out. Guess you told him, no one else will promise that.

  12. Adam says:

Now if this was a prediction of 2011-2012 or 2012-2013, I would say it’s legit. I think Hayward will eventually start. Just not this season.

  13. dominic says:

i dont need your advice adam

  14. KCJones says:

    lol@dominic

Hey you have your opinion, people have theirs. Don’t throw your opinion out and then tell people to shut up when they voice their contradicting opinion.

    Now for my contradicting opinion.

Hayward’s a rookie. He’s not going to start over the Jazz vets like CJ or AK. He’s a backup that needs to bulk up and continue to refine his game, but will come in and contribute.

Here’s what I see as the starting lineup, with backups in order of use

PG – D Will, Ronnie Price, Gaines

SG – CJ Miles, Bell, Hayward

SF – Kirilenko, CJ Miles, Hayward

    PF – Millsap, Jefferson, AK

    C – Jefferson, Okur, Fes

Its mostly that way because Okur is injured. If he wasn’t, I’d have him starting C, Jefferson starting PF with Millsap backup. BUT if Jefferson and Millsap combo knock it out of the park during their starts together, I might just keep it as is when Memo comes back.

  15. Gerald says:

Adam, Champ, would you guys like me to take a stab at him? hahahaha

  16. Adam says:

Oh, getting harsh are we now, Dominic? I don’t need your advice, Adam? Wow, I wasn’t being rude. I was just giving out some advice. Personally I always enjoy hearing any advice that anybody has to give me. I take all the advice I get from everyone, then I weigh my options and make my own decision. It helps me become a much better person. You sound like a stubborn teenager who thinks he knows everything there is to know about life and thus never wants to listen to what anyone has to say. I hope you learn one day that taking advice from people is a good thing and will help you grow.

Yeah, Gerald, I think it’s your turn to take a stab at him.

  17. Jace says:

Its not going to be the same starting line up every game. Sloan will start who he thinks is going to match up well against the opposing team. I’ve got to say I’m excited for this season. There are so many possible starting line-ups that can compete with any team. Hopefully everyone puts in hard work over the summer.

  18. dominic says:

im sorry adam for bein so harsh
