Jazz Roadside Assistance

We all know the road is always a hard place to play (especially if you come into OUR house).  Last year we barely got over .500 going 21-20 on the road.  What we need to do is bring ESA with the Jazz wherever they go.  To do this, I’m road trippin’ up to Portland with a couple of buddies on the weekend of November 20th to say hi to our old friend Wes and providing “Jazz Roadside Assistance” for “The New Face Jazz” as Mr. Locke and others have called them.  Join the revolution and plan a weekend getaway to help the guys on the road!  Is anyone else heading to an away game???

    Cool notion.

I already live in Portland but it sure would be cool to get 100’s of Jazz fans at the Rose Garden.

in our local soccer league here in australia each group of fans have a game they call national duty. for that game every fan tries to get to it. it is always an away game and it is a great way to see places you havent been before. i think jazz fans could introduce this to the nba. start with just 1 national duty game (if you want i can write a blog and poll). basically everyone votes and then everyone tries to get to that away game. obviously you make it a game of some significance (so we could do a poll of the away miami game, a lakers game at the staples center, etc). best not to do a division rival cos a travelling fan base wouldnt get that many seats.

  4. I’m thinking the name could be changed. We have the Jazz “Rowdies” , why not the Jazz “Roadies”? Any other ideas?

If I was rich enough and single enough, I’d do it! Sadly, I’m too married and too poor.
