Meet
Omri Casspi

The author's views are entirely his or her own and may not reflect the views of the Utah Jazz.Today I just read on ESPN that a mural of Omri Casspi of the Sacramento Kings had a swastika painted over it and I just want Casspi to know as well as all you Jazz fans how painful and childish this is. For those that don’t know Omri Casspi is Jewish and a fantastic basketball player. Whoever thought this was a good idea was mistaken and obviously not a basketball fan. I hope that Casspi knows that not all fans ares like those whoolagans and I hope that he will stay in the NBA and not feel as though he has no fans here. Omri, keep doing what your doing and impress everyone with your ball playing.
Also on another note, what do you think of the Jazz possibly trading for Casspi. He is young and tough. The type of player who I think would fit in nicely with the Jazz and Jerry Sloan’s style of play. How about a Casspi for CJ Miles trade, or try to sign him this offseason when he becomes a free agent, what do you think Jazz front office?

Yeah,
I say trade kirilenko for casspi and dalembert.
Casspi put up recent kirilenko like numbers his rookie season. He would be a good sixth man. Dalembert would also give us more needed length to help us not rely on Okur as much. What do y’all think about this?
Casspi for Miles, i make this trade every day, but Hayward is a Casspi clone, hard to find playing time for the two…..

“It’s all over the news here,” Casspi said. “I’m not shocked but I’m kind of hurt, you know. … It’s just crazy that it’s 2010 and still there are people who are racist and who hate. That’s the only thing that hurts and is a big shock.”
