Meet
Time To Bench The Coach!

The author's views are entirely his or her own and may not reflect the views of the Utah Jazz.It seems obvious that the FO aren’t going to make a coaching change any time soon, but man what I wouldn’t do to have Coach Corbin benched for 12 minutes or so a game and have one of his assistants in charge of the team. If you have the ability to bench an underperforming player why not the coach too!?!
Seriously I am sick to my back teeth watching teams go on a run on this Jazz team and the players getting no help from the man in charge. It’s not like its a new occurrence. It’s been going on all season. Teams go on runs. Its the game of basketball. But coaches around the league use timeout to either berate their own players into following through on their designated tasks and plays, or they use timeouts to just interupt the flow of the opposing team and stop a momentum swinger. Today’s 14 and 0 run by Portland should never have been allowed to happen. Runs like that have been going on game after game. Yet Corbin continues to allow it to happen. Where is the protection? Seriously I am sick of watching a hard working team get no help. This team has no out and out stars but it is a team that works hard and sometimes then just runs out of energy for a spell. Thats to be expected in a 48 minute game, and that is when the coach needs to step up and help his team. EIther remind his players what they need to do, or just use it to give his players a breather. If he can’t do that maybe Hornacek needs to be given the task of timeout interventions. If only!

agreed, it actually became a 17-2 before Corbin called a timeout – I was yelling at my TV for a timeout… the Jazz didn’t score for over five minutes at the end of the third quarter!
Hahaha, I wish!! Id be happier if we fired him!
I’ve been yelling at my screen for all season, actually probably two seasons now. I don’t expect the world from a rookie coach, but I do expect him to help his team when his team needs help, not just flap his arms about.
I completely agree with all of you, there will be all these big Corbin supporters to tear into us but they obviously don’t get the game, I don’t mind the man on a personal level but on a coaching level, HE SUCKS!!! I watch games with big groups of family members, neighbors and friends and its a UNANIMOUS decision that he should be terminated by the end of the season and buy out the remainder of his contract, but not Millers, ,mamby pamby ass, his dad would not have stood for this, he would have supported Jerry til the end, istead of kissing D-wills pouty entitled ass, who run out one of the best coaches OF ALL time, then got sent packing anyways,,,FOOLS,,,ALL,,FOOLS
