Meet
NBA Arena Names

The author's views are entirely his or her own and may not reflect the views of the Utah Jazz.I was thinking, it would be sweet if some day the NBA was wealthy enough to be able to name each stadium after the team that plays there. For example, here’s some ideas:
Toronto Raptors: “Jurassic Park”
New Orleans Hornets: “The Honeycomb”
Oklahoma City Thunder: “The Supercell”
Indiana Pacers: “The Pit” (College beat me to this one)
LA Clippers: “The Barbershop”
LA Lakers: “The Gay Bar”
Orlando Magic: “The Prestige”
Utah Jazz: “Salt Palace” I think that was a sweet name. More for the region than the team, but still cool.
Portland Trailblazers: “The Emergency Room” (cheap shot at their injury problems.)
Anyway, just some ideas and I must say it was kind of fun to think about this topic and come up with thoughts. You know when you are shoveling snow or mowing the lawn and you think about the NBA? This was a fun one for me.

Yo do realize a Clipper is a sail boat, don’t you?

“The Gay Bar” LOL
Thanks Dave. I had no idea that a “Clipper” was a sailboat. But that does make their name even dumber than before.
