AK was reportedly in talks with Real Madrid to play for them next season. Now Madrid is saying they turned him down due to salary demands. He was asking for 5.8 mil/season. My question to you is this: If we could re-sign AK for 5.8 mil/year, would you do that deal? Personally, I would try to talk him down to 5 mil, but if not, I really think I would re-sign him for 5.8. He fills a need on the roster and would definitely be a great asset for much less than we were previously paying him. Admittedly, this post is lockout fodder…
