The Bachelor? I’d rather watch basketball.

The author's views are entirely his or her own and may not reflect the views of the Utah Jazz.While some may think, as a typical 19 year-old girl in college, my evenings may consist of watching the Bachelor and wearing fuzzy pajamas while nestled under a blanket with a box of tissues, they would in fact be wrong. Well, maybe not wrong about the fuzzy slippers, but definitely wrong about the rest.
Chances are the blanket would be at my feet because I’m the type of girl that jumps up and yells at the television. Why? Because I’m watching Utah Jazz basketball, and with every basket, every technical foul, and every injury, to me it feels like it’s happening to guys I know. And sometimes the excitement is too much to be contained.
I cried when Boozer got traded, I cried this year when the Lakers knocked the Jazz out of the playoffs, and I most definitely shouted hallelujah praises at the 140-139 end to that Jazz v. Thunder game that went in to OT.
I can keep up with anyone who wants to talk about the Jazz, and I can probably teach them a few things they didn’t know before.
My twitter feed is basically filled with what CJ Miles did this weekend, how Ryan Thompson is always trying to find somewhere awesome to eat as a newby in Salt Lake City, and of course how, despite the fact he’s left for the Bulls, somehow Kyle Korver is still impacting the community with his charity work.
I love this team, and I love to write; as a Jazzbot I think I could add a little youthful female perspective on the franchise I grew up watching.
