New C/F?

He seems to be descent for the under 2 mil we could get him for. He was the back up center for the 07 San Antonio Spurs championship team and probably could be a good addition to our squad. And… he is 7′ – 0″ tall, and not afriad to hit a 15 footer… Your thoughts?

Hey Michael, welcome to the site. I don’t know, Elson is going to be 35 years old in February. Can he still play? Curious, did you hear/read something about him or were you just trying to think of big guys who might be floating around out there?
Just trying to think of a big guy… Although, it would be nice if all of our players can be healthy together (at least for the 2nd half of the season). I really don’t think we would need anyone if everyone was healthy. Big Al, Memo, Milsap, and Fes make a pretty good 4/5 rotation. I wonder who is going to fill in the roster spots come Oct?
Michael…if everyone stayed healthy, you’re right that we wouldn’t have a problem. But that’s why teams carry a full roster. Injuries are just part of the game. I’m 100% with you that the Jazz need another big body (or two). Maybe Elson or some other journeyman, or maybe some young guy they invite to camp…who knows?
I’d rather have Kwame Brown.
Possible if Fes doesn’t get time but I prefer that we finally give Fes some minutes
Have I missed something on Fesenko. last I knew he still hadn’t signed.
I looked at his stats. 1.0 ppg, 1.2 rpg 0.2 apg for the 09-10 season. we could use him like fesenko (if we dont sign him back)
