I have been a Jazz fan since 1979 – At nine years old I was one of the few fans at the Salt Palace to watch Adrian Dantley score 30 every night. I cheered when they used the #2 pick on the “Golden Griff” and booed when they picked the skinny little white kid from Gonzaga. I loved watching the “fastest of them all” lead the team to their first division title and the defensive player of the year show the twin towers how it’s done. I absolutely loved watching the beginning of the “Stockton to Malone” era when the best Jazz team to date took the showtime Fakers to game 7. I remember where I was during one of the greatest moments in history when Stockton hit “The Shot” and I remember my family not being to happy with me holding up the reception line at my wedding so I could watch the cow hide globe hit home! – YOU GOTTA LOVE IT BABY!
